Me and Stacey are nearly the same weight here 📸
Seeing these photos was a huge wake-up call. For context - I’m 6’1”, Stace is 5’7”. I should NOT only be 2-3kg heavier than her.
That’s when I decided to commit to building up my body, not breaking it down.
The hardest part of this journey isn’t the food. It’s seeing your body get a little more “fluffy.” And that’s why most people quit after 2-3 months. They don’t want to lose their abs.
Trust me, I was that person all my life.
But if you do it right, you will see some fantastic results, become a lot more confident in yourself, and minimise the rate of fat gain.
15kg later, I finally look like someone who knows what they’re talking about.
Your body is your business card as a coach. Sometimes you need to practice what you preach before you can truly help others.
From being embarrassed about my physique to leading by example. From breaking my body down to building it up properly.
The transformation wasn’t just physical - it was mental.

This photoshoot changed everything.

Not because of the photos (which I barely showed anyone), but because of what it cost me.

12 weeks of extreme restriction led to:
→ Extreme fatigue
→ Testosterone crash
→ Sleep was gone to the dogs
→ Complete social isolation
→ Binge eating episodes
→ Destroyed relationship with food

The worst part? I was a COACH telling people about balance while living in complete restriction.

That pizza night in the carousel? I ate until I physically couldn’t move. My family was genuinely worried yet I thought it was normal

My body was screaming at me to stop the madness.

Now I’m 15kg heavier than in that photoshoot photo. And I’m the strongest, happiest, and most confident I’ve ever been.

The lesson? Your body doesn’t want to be broken down. It wants to be built up.

I’ll never put a client through what I put myself through. That’s a promise. If we do fat loss, we do it the right way, safe and sustainable

I spent a year body breaking instead of body building.
The difference?
Body breaking = restriction, fear, obsession, getting weaker, low mood, low s*x drive
Body building = abundance, strength, growth, living your life, filling out tops, adding muscle
Yes, you will have to go through a period of losing fat first, and you may feel a little hungry, tired or small at times
But, there is a fine line between sustainable fat loss and drilling your body in to the ground
It’s something I massively struggled with when I did my photoshoot prep in 2023 and now its something I make sure I avoid with all my clients

If you keep saying “I’ll start next week” you may forget it.

You’re not waiting.
You’re just kicking the can down the road, making things worse while telling yourself it’s fine.

I remember when I let my own standards slip…
95kg, sky-high blood pressure, stressed out of my head.
Everything felt like a chore, even spending time with friends or family.

But I still tried to convince myself I was “doing okay.”

The photos above? They speak for themselves.

I wasn’t just letting myself down, I was letting everyone around me down too.

At some point, you’ve got to stop hiding in the comfort of excuses…
And start showing up.
For yourself.
For your partner.
For your family.
For your future.

Stop being pig ignorant to the situation.
Start taking responsibility, because nothing changes if nothing changes.

When you do?
✅ Better mood
✅ More energy
✅ More confidence
✅ Stronger relationships
✅ Long-term health

Delaying it doesn’t mean you’ll stay the same.
It means you’ll get worse.

Meet Kirsten, an absolute legend 👏

When we first spoke back in Feb, her message was clear:
"Cillian, I want to drop body fat, improve for camogie and GAA, but I’ve a hectic schedule, holidays, and a load of stuff coming up, can you help?"

And of course, I said let’s do it 🫡

Fast forward 12 weeks, Kirsten dropped 7kg, built a solid gym routine, and still enjoyed most of her weekends.

Here’s what’s powerful about her journey👇
She didn’t fall into the trap of “I’m too busy right now” or “I’ll wait till after my holiday”...
She accepted the situation and asked,
“How can I make this work for me?”

Because truth is, you’ll rarely get a “perfect” 10-12 week window.
Life won’t slow down. So build a structure that works with it, not against it.

It’s Men’s Health Week.

One thing I’ve noticed in my time coaching, men are stubborn A.F. 🤣

We bottle things up, suppress what we’re feeling, and avoid the stuff that could actually make us feel better.

That’s why I wanted to share these photos with you.

Here’s the thing: we often think asking for help is a sign of weakness.
But being a strong man isn’t about suffering in silence, it’s about taking action.

If you’re struggling with any part of your health, look for help.

Talk to a mate. Hire a coach. Book a check-up.
Something is always better than nothing.

We are getting 🔪🔪🔪

My boy putting in some serious graft here and getting ready for his first 📸

Brendan and I had a chat when he came to visit me back in April, he wanted to set himself a challenge.

He was ready to push himself, mentally and physically. He wanted to do something for him, something that would make him uncomfortable, but help him grow as a result.

For years, Brendan wanted to get ripped and be proud of his results, and he’s doing exactly that.

From 95kg to 70kg, this man is an inspiration to me and should be an inspiration to many more looking to better themselves.

He’s a testament to what can be done with a bit of consistency, discipline, and goddamn hard work. Keep it up my brother, can’t wait to see the end product 🫡
