STOLEN FROM SCOUTS
🚨⚜️🚨⚜️🚨⚜️🚨

25th Kildangan Scout Group recently posted about their new outdoor activity space beside the CrossKeys Kildangan. To the utter dismay of both Scouts and this community, the significant amount of boundary fencing erected by the Council, as seen in the photo attached, has been stolen!!

If anyone locally has any CCTV from the past week in the area, please review, and if there is anything significant or questionable relating to this theft, please contact the Scouts or Guards directly.

It is very sad, when our local volunteer scout group was working so hard to clean up and utilise this site for the good of our local children, for this to happen.

North Dublin Bikers spin to support Grow.ie was an amazing day.

Where to start with our thanks;

Massive thank you I’m sure from the whole of Ireland for the valuable service provided by Grow, it’s amazing for us to be able to offer the support we can!

Then there’s the Shed 4 Bikers team who were instrumental in this event happening, without them it would have been near impossible 🙏👏👏👏

Bikeworld Ireland - discounting the prizes to maximise the donation to Grow.ie and a good contribution to raffle ticket sales! Nice one lads 🙏

A&S Meats in Portarlington, gave us a discount on some great burgers and sausages for the day.

Alan Dolan, Anna L Photography and others who captured some great photos and videos of the day.

A shout out to Robbie who made loads of friends on the day and amused us all with his jokes 🤩

My wife Gemma Hopson and son Theory for all the running around getting buns, sauces, cheese, helping during the event and rather importantly bringing me a change of clothes on the day 🙏

Lastly, the biking community of Ireland. A community of people who are so incredibly generous with their time and hard earned €’s.

The weather was far from ideal but I think everyone had an amazing day. We started the day with over 70 Bikes! 🏍️

The numbers are in, the donation we will be making to Grow is *€5,617*. Our initial discussions with Grow we indicated that we would aim to make a donation of €1,500-2,000 given this is our first of what will be an annual event.

We at North Dublin Bikers are very much looking forward to creating a bigger and better event for 2026….. watch this space.

Having found practical ways of helping each other recover from mental health challenges or life struggles we developed what we refer to as The Grow Program.
