Predeceased by her mother, Laura. Sadly missed by her heartbroken father, Mark, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, Friends from school and sport, Team mates and everyone that knew her.

Funeral Mass at 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon (4th January) in St. Ciaran's Church, Carnaross, followed by burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Carnaross, Kells.

The death has occurred of Brendan Maguire, Newcastle, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, formerly Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan, 23rd November 2025, peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by his parents, Terence and Annie. Deeply regretted and dearly missed by his heartbroken wife, Ann, his daughter Caroline and son Paudie, son-in-law Aidan and daughter-in-law Viane, his adored grandchildren Harry and Ella, sisters Diana and Patricia, brother Terry, nephew Declan, his good friend and brother in law Mickey, relatives, and cherished friends.

and formerly of Eighter, Virginia, Cavan

Paddy passed away on Friday 10th October, peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Peacefully surrounded by his family at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his son, Graham. Sadly missed by his loving wife, Valerie, son Keith and his partner Patricia, grandson Jamie and extended family, big circle of friends and neighbours.

Michael will be reposing at his residence in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan this Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm.

He will also be reposing at his son, Keith's, residence in Ballyfermot this Thursday from 4pm to 7pm.

Predeceased by her husband Vincent, son Martin, granddaughter Rebecca, brother Bill, and parents Moria and Tommy Hetherton.

A loving mother to Anne, Maureen, Jacqueline, Lilian, and Richard.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Joan Shortt sadly passed away on the 17th of February in Cavan General Hospital following a short illness.

Originally from Rafter’s Road, Drimnagh, Dublin, Joan made Virginia, Cavan her home since 2001

Already terribly missed by her husband of 56 years Luke, her memory cherished by her children Howard, Tracy, and Nicola and all her favourite grandchildren Ellen, Cian, Elise, Ruby, Ethan, Joseph and Andrew and her great-grandson Tadhgh

Joan’s family wish to thank all the staff of Cavan General who cared for Joan, most especially in the last couple of weeks
