Yin yoga tomorrow in the studio at 9am (Sat, Feb 14th). We'll stretch through a series of seated and reclined poses, holding them for longer (2 - 5 mins) to target tension in our muscles, fascia, ligaments and joints. It's great for supporting your recovery from sports/ exercise but also a wonderful way to downshift your nervous system and start your weekend calm and rested.

My studio is small and intimate with a capacity of just 6 people so please book ahead online if you'd like a space. Here's the link:

New term starts tomorrow in Virginia and I have a very special offer.....😉

But first let me tell you more about the class and how it's a little unique. This class blends traditional Hatha yoga with modern movement principles to support a strong, adaptable, and resilient body and nervous system. It’s a thoughtful, slower-paced practice that prioritizes quality of movement, awareness, and sustainable strength—rather than rushing through shapes or pushing for extremes.

Over this 4-week series, we’ll explore practices designed to help you feel more connected, stable, and in tune with your body. Such as:
• Traditional Hatha yoga sequences, held and explored with intention
• Breathwork and nervous system regulation techniques to support focus, calm, and resilience
• Mobility drills to improve joint health, range of motion, and functional strength
• Dynamic sequences to stimulate lymphatic flow and support overall wellbeing

What you can expect in class:
• A slower, deliberate pace that allows time to feel what you’re doing and why
• Movements that build strength and range gradually, with joint health and longevity in mind
• Clear cues and thoughtful transitions
• Breath-led movement that helps you find more depth, control, and ease—both in stillness and in flow
• Space to tune into your body’s signals, learning when to soften, when to stay, and when to explore a little more

Each class offers options and modifications so you can meet the practice where you are. If something feels challenging, there will be supportive alternatives. If you’re feeling strong and curious, progressions will be offered so you can safely explore greater intensity or complexity.

No previous experience required, no expectations. Just you, your mat (and maybe a significant other, or maybe not!)

I run these sessions in 4 week blocks so discounts are available when booking a 4 week class pass online but even better than that - I am offering a very special Dual Pass for this class only - after all it is the month of love (if you're into it) but not all love is romantic! With this dual pass you and your chosen other (maybe a friend, a family member or a partner) can enjoy all 4 classes together for less. The normal class pass rate for 1 person is €50 but this Dual pass is just €75! And this class is open to all regardless of s*x, or creed. Even over 12's are welcome when accompanied - so you can even share this experience with your teens! So great for bonding but also exposes them to ways to self-regulate during stressful periods, keep physically active, and a regular yoga practice can even help support learning and sports performance.

For those who prefer to go solo or unable to commit to a 4 week run I also offer a drop-in pay-as-you-go option (at €15/ pp which can be paid in person on the night).

Ever tried yoga with weights? Well it's amazing for:
- building lean muscle
- improving core strength
- bone health & joint health
- improving stability & balance

And it's not all go, go, go - mind you there is a lot of going 😉 but, there is still space for the mindfulness you'd expect in a traditional yoga class.

I run these classes biweekly and the next one is this Saturday (Feb 7) at 9am in my home studio in Killinkere (just 6km from Virginia and Bailieborough). There'll be a max of 5 others in the session so these classes are nice and private with lots of support, guidance and laughs. You don't need to be strong or flexible to start.

We'll be using small dumbbells that are between 1.5kg and 2kg in weight (which I provide). But you're welcome to bring your own smaller or bigger weights (but 2kg is absolutely plenty!) if preferred. And this class can also be enjoyed without weights so they can absolutely be abandoned at any point during the class if needed so no pressure! 😉

New 4 week block of Hatha Yoga starts this Wednesday at 7:30pm in Virginia Show Centre.

This class combines:
Traditional yoga
Fascia focused movements & stretches
Mobility exercises
Nervous system regulation techniques
Flows to promote strength, flexibility, stability, resilience, circulation and lymphatic drainage

All levels of practitioner welcome including absolute beginners. The practice can be modified according to your energy levels on the night - to simplify or challenge

Teens welcome with an accompanying adult.

If you're not sure where to start with my classes, this might help 👇

Hatha - slow, intentional movement to build strength, flexibility & resilience. Breath-led, joint-aware, with space to modify & progress.
Pace: slow
Intensity: moderate

Iron - traditional asanas combined with light dumbbells, pulsing, drills & vinyasas to build functional strength, stability & range.
Pace: varies throughout but quick/explosive at times
Intensity: intense 💪 (but you can ditch the weights and rest when needed 😉)

Yin - long, supported holds to release deep tension, improve flexibility & settle the nervous system.
Pace: snails pace, expect to hold poses for 2-5mins and journey inward
Intensity: moderate to intense

Aerial - supported & dynamic - build strength and ease tension as you swing, fly & float.
Pace: varies throughout, we go from slow and stretchy to fast and sweaty and back again
Intensity: please refer to class description when booking as it will depend on the type of class selected (beginners, improvers, mixed levels or family friendly)

All levels of practitioners welcome.

Aerial Yoga can be so dynamic - there are endless ways to spice up your plank. With the silk we need to work a little extra to stay steady - makjng it super effective for building better stability when moving dynamically. And better core stability can translate to more efficient movement patterns in your day to day movement.

Walk-ins welcome to all classes in Virginia Show Centre and Killinkere GFC this week, just show up with your mat (or borrow one of mine). Classes are upstairs in both venues. Details in pics.
We're in the final 2 weeks of current terms but you don't need to have been to previous classes to be able to follow along and enjoy a great stretch, a little sweat and some well earned rest. These are open level classes so everyone is welcome - beginners, casual practitioners, dedicated practitioners, men, women, and even teens over 12 when accompanied.

Classes in my home studio in Killinkere do require booking ahead as my studio has a capacity for just 6 for mat based classes and 4 for Aerial Yoga classes. This Saturday's mat based classes is Iron Yoga and I can't wait! We'll be using small weights to enhance the benefits to our muscles, bones and joints. Think yoga meets pilates meets weights. Yin can be tough sometimes as we're holding each pose for 3 - 5 minutes to work into the deepest layers of tissues to release tension and improve our range. Holding any position for such durations can be tough physically and mentally. So you might find yourself on an inward journey, digging deep to get through some parts but you'll always come out the other side a little more resilient and free.
