We fully understand and respect the enormity in choosing the right residential care home for your loved one. Our approach is simple, we provide support through a free consultation and tour of our community. During this consultation we will find out the specific needs of your loved one, explain our approach to care and answer any questions you may have about Bishopscourt. We always encourage that you should visit more than one home in order to make an informed decision. Creative Moments at Bishopscourt Nursing Home

This week, our residents had a wonderful time making dream catchers — a relaxing and creative activity that everyone really enjoyed. 🪶

There was plenty of laughter and fun as they added their personal touches, decorating them with bright and colourful stickers to make each one unique. 🎨

Vaccine Day at Bishopscourt Nursing Home 💉

This week, our residents and staff received their winter flu and COVID-19 vaccines — helping to keep everyone safe and healthy this season 🌼

Bishopscourt Nursing Home – Our knitting group gathered in the garden room this week, one of their favourite spots to relax and create together. 🧶

We have a few lovely projects on the go:
Eileen is getting organised early with some festive Santas for our market 🎅 While, Mary, Ita, Louise, and Betty are busy knitting cosy scarves 🧣
And Mary is also working on colourful squares for a blanket to keep her warm this winter 🪡

It’s always such a joy to see the creativity, chat and laughter flow during these sessions.

Recently we had the joy of a visit from Miller the Dog from Therapy Dogs Ireland.

Kuba’s final class with us is next week, and he will be greatly missed. Residents have loved every session, keeping active and smiling along the way!

We were delighted to welcome back Timmy Tunes to Bishopscourt last week. His energy, music, and singalong spirit always light up the room, and our residents absolutely love him. 💖

From toe-tapping tunes to big smiles all around, afternoons like this remind us just how powerful music is in bringing joy and connection. 🎤

Today we are thrilled to celebrate Kay’s 100th Birthday here at Bishopscourt! 💐✨

Kay is pictured with her son, Fergus and daughter, Mary, enjoying this incredible milestone surrounded by love. 💕

Her family marked the occasion with a beautiful personalised card filled with fun facts from 1925 – the year Kay was born. Here are just a few:

Double Birthday Celebrations at Bishopscourt Residential Care 🎉

This week, we celebrated two very special milestones 🥳

Coco (in the black cardigan) turned 90 on Monday, and Kathleen (in the blue jumper) turned 95 yesterday! 💕 Our amazing chefs, Mary and Sebastian, made the beautiful birthday cakes that made the day even sweeter. 🍰

Wishing both Coco and Kathleen a very happy birthday — here’s to many more wonderful years 🥂
