Many thanks to our staff who ensured that the care of our residents was not affected by the recent storm over the last 24 hours.

Our staff stayed in the centre last night, going that extra mile for our residents.

We were delighted to be invited over to Signacare Ferrybank today to provide a little entertainment to the residents, and we had a lovely afternoon in great company singing a few songs!!!
Many thanks to Niall Kelly & Roy Collins for devising a great 'hit list', and Killian Delahunty for additional instruments. And not forgetting our ladies, who were not only in fine voice, but excellent percussionists to boot-I don't think that tambourine will ever be the same again Kelly Wyse😉

Signacare Waterford recently held a very successful coffee morning in aid of Waterford Hospice.
We are very grateful for all our families, friends and staff who attended.
Special thanks to our staff who assisted on the day and also our friends from Abbey Community College who supplied us with the most beautiful music.

All monies raised will be sent to Waterford Hospice.

We wish to thank everyone who supported us on the day and indeed everyday for your kindness to us all❤️

Yesterday we had our “summer” barbecue. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to go outside, however it did not spoil our wonderful day. Instead we moved our stage inside.
Many thanks to all our wonderful Signacare team for making the day so special for our residents. Also our family and friends who attended and not forgetting our residents who thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Over the last few days we had a very exciting inter generational project taking place in the centre.

The project involved a film crew with actor Ronan Wilmott (Snapper and The Field) and actress Geraldine Plunkett (Glenroe).

The idea of the engagement project was to to facilitate conversations and discussions between the older and younger generation swapping stories etc.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the film crew were so professional and respectful.

We will have a viewing of the film prior to its airing, as It will also be entered into film festivals nationally and internationally.
Well done and thank you to our super star residents who participated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
