🍷As we toast last season’s County Junior Football Championship success (a first since 1979), this promises to be a brilliant occasion in The Majestic Hotel at the end of the month – and a super start to the February Bank Holiday Weekend.

🎶 The Strobes’ setlist of dancefloor favourites has made them a hugely popular act far beyond Tramore, and a capacity crowd is expected for this the club’s first dinner dance since 2016 (when several of our players were literally half the age they are now!).

Work on the pitch was just beginning when the side of '79 came back from the dead to beat Sliabh gCua on a dramatic December day at Fraher Field. (The start of the Jim Halley era was still a few winters away!)

However, history is always for the making and the Fenor faithful head to Walsh Park this Saturday hopeful, yet mindful of the challenge posed by Western winners Ballyduff Upper.

Manager Mick Murphy and his selectors have left no stone unturned since January to prepare the panel and, led by John Flynn, the players will be giving it their all to go one better than 2023 and bridge that long gap back to the late seventies.
