A huge thank you to Waterford Lions Club and Dungarvan Lions Club for organising another successful 'East Meets West Cycle' to raise funds for Waterford Hospice.

Thanks also to everyone who got involved on the day and to those who donated so generously 🙏

Friday the 4th of July we travel to the South of Ireland, to start our wonderful mini tour.
On Saturday the 5th we will be performing two concert programmes in the town of Clonakilty at the Clonakilty Old Time Fair.
On the 6th of July, we will perform a bandstand concert on the promenade of the Isle of Cobh, before heading onto Waterford for an evening of "Brass and Voices" Concert in aid of the Waterford Hospice.
The Concert is going to be held at Waterford Christchurch Cathedral and we will be performing alongside Ireland's longest established Barbershop Chorus group "The Polyphonics ". Tickets are on sale at the Theatre Royal box office, Waterford. Doors open at 6.15pm. Book your tickets now to support a very worthwhile cause.

Catherine O’Brien is a regular visitor on Oak Ward, supplying lovely blankets for patients. These blankets bring so much comfort to our patients and their families. 🙏

🌻A huge thank you from everyone at Waterford Hospice for your support for yet another Hospice collection.
It has been wonderful to receive so much positive feedback through kind words and stories shared - not to mention those vital donations.
And of course we are especially grateful to our fantastic volunteers and to the shopping centre management teams, who so generously provide the space and time to host these vital collections.

A big shout our for John Moran and the Dungarvan Support Group for Hospice (pictured here with Joan Sheehan). John is a Hospice Hero organising fundraising events for many years. Nothing is every too much trouble and I think and this stage everyone in Dungarvan knows John !!! Keep up the great work it is very much appreciated by all at Waterford Hospice 🙏🌻

Big News!🌻🌻

Today, we’re delighted to officially launch our new 4-year strategic plan here at Waterford Hospice Movement.
This plan outlines our vision for the future - to grow, strengthen and sustain hospice care across the South East, including Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, and Wexford.
Over the next four years, we’ll focus on:

✅ Expanding supports for patients and families
✅ Enhancing outreach and home-based services in Waterford
✅ Ensuring transparency, governance and accountability
✅ Creating new opportunities for community involvement through volunteering
