Join us tomorrow for Part 2 (of 4) - a dance workshop especially designed by Dance Artist, Deirdre Grant to celebrate the ancient festival of Bealtaine. Part 2 explores dance & the natural world of Air, one of the fundamental Elements of the universe.

Bealtaine Festival, celebrating the arts and creativity as we age, is taking place throughout the month of May with events happening in person and online. Well done to one & all of the Best Foot Forward dance club members who contributed to this unique group knitting project, over the June/July/August, which we finally completed today at our base at Garter Lane Arts Centre. Thanks to WWETB Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board Community Education for the donation of the wool (part of a larger Yarn Bombing project) and to Garter Lane Arts Centre for giving us the space to meet & to finish off during September. The knitting kept us all connected at a time of isolation and bringing it altogether was very rewarding. .
