✨Price List update✨

I’m also celebrating 3 years in my therapy room .beo7b this month .

Wow!!! I know it’s cliché, but where have those three years gone?
I’ve grown so much here ….trained, learned, and deepened my work, and it’s about time (right?!) my prices now reflect that growth.

I may be 3 years here but Ive been practising much longer and haven’t budged in my prices in all that time. Price changes are always a tricky one but I owe it to myself and to my lovely clients who are constantly asking, “Girl, when are you putting up your prices?” A beautiful compliment to me and what I do here 💪

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me and my practice and showing respect for my work and what I bring to each session along the way .

Here’s to another year of healing, recovery, and continued growth.

✨Holiday Notice ✨

I’ll be taking time off from 20th December to 8th January to rest and recharge.

Please note that I won’t be responding to calls or messages during this time.

Thank you to all my wonderful clients for your continued support throughout the year , it truly means a lot. I’m always blown away by the messages I receive on the daily for new clients wanting to book in and unfortunately not being in the position to take any on this side of Xmas.

I’m looking forward to returning refreshed for the New Year ahead. All going well I might see some new faces too .

✨Types of Massage Therapy ✨

Swedish Massage 💆

Feeling stressed? A Swedish massage is the classic go-to for major relaxation. Swedish massage is typically a full-body massage that uses a gentle touch. It’s a good pick for people new to massages. It can help calm your nervous system. Swedish massage is also a good avenue for encouraging a relaxed emotional state of mind which can directly impact your muscles.

Deep tissue massage 💆🏽‍♀️

Your muscles can get tight from repeated use — even from something less active like sitting, driving or hunching over your laptop. Deep tissue massage gets into your muscles and tendons to release that tightness.

Sports massage 💆🏾‍♂️

Sports massage is similar to deep-tissue massage , but more focused in on the muscles that take a beating when you play sports or do another repetitive physical activity. My job as a sports massage therapist is to get in there to break up muscle tightness and address sports injuries.

Trigger point massage 💆

Trigger point therapy involves applying pressure directly to the trigger points to release the tension and restore muscle balance as an effective approach to relieve pain, restore muscle function, and promote overall well-being. This is done through manual pressure , stretching , deep tissue , heat , myofascial release .

Myofascial release 🕸️

The fascia is a web of connective tissue under the skin. It supports the muscles and allows us to move freely. When stuck or restricted movement is limited . When you get a myofascial release, I will knead, stretch the muscles and fascia to work out tension and tightness. It’s a form of deep stretching often used together with other therapeutic massage techniques. It’s great way for opening up tightness in your neck, shoulders and your upper and lower back and other body parts .

✨Soft Tissue Release ✨

What is STR ?
Soft Tissue Release (STR) is a dynamic, highly effective technique that has an immediate and powerful effect on muscle and connective tissue. STR is a combination of Myofascial Release, Therapeutic Massage, and Active Assisted Stretching. The technique involves applying precise pressure during a specific stretch performed in multiple planes of movement.

Stretch is held for 1-2 seconds but done repeatedly 10-15 times in specific area . By using just the right amount pressure and friction on your muscle or tendon and just the right amount of tension – through the stretch – it can rapidly free up the restrictions caused by Scar Tissue.

And it can be done without being too aggressive and causing unnecessary pain or triggering the stretch reflex .
It’s different from other methods in that the muscle or tendon is pressed on at the same time the muscle is stretched. It’s particularly good for treating Tendinitis or tendnosis, tennis elbow or Golfers elbow , Rotator cuff issues, shoulder issues in general and sports injuries.

Or are you finding that even when you try your best to stretch and strengthen, your muscles almost seem to refuse to lengthen and return to normal ? This can be because of sticky excessive scar tissue . This technique is great for releasing scar tissue restrictions , freeing up muscles and tendons giving a relief and increased flexibility.

Overall STR is a faster way to heal muscles and tendons ✨
