Today , I was invited to the gorgeous .johnstown.estate for O- Cosmedics Christmas product launch.

We mingled with other beauty/skin professionals, sharing ideas, guiding each other, and having a giggle or two.

There were 3 amazing key speakers: (skin nurse) , .haire (nutrition therapist), and (trichologist). They were just incredible, and they left me wanting to know more.

After lunch, we got to see all of the Christmas kits for 2025. Fantastic range of gift ideas at a great price point.... more on this later.😉

Then, at the end, this happened.... The Ivy won an award for achieving the best skin results.
We are blown away by this award, especially only having O Cosmedics 10 months in our clinic. What we achieved in such a small space of time ❤️.

We are honoured as always to deliver real, genuine skin results, but it's all down to a knowledgeable team, a strong brand, and loyal clients.😘

We totally understand that plans change — life happens! 💬 All we ask is that you give us a little notice so we can offer your slot to someone on our standby list.

🔸 Cancel with 24+ hours' notice: No fee
🔸 Cancel within 24 hours: 50% of treatment cost
🔸 No-shows: 100% of treatment cost

Unfortunately, we've had a number of no-shows recently, and we need to enforce this policy to protect our team's time and keep the business running smoothly.

💳 A deposit is now required through our online portal or booking app. For phone bookings, we will require a deposit going forward.

Yesterday, we were invited to the beautiful St George's Hall in Liverpool, where The Ivy was nominated for 3 awards.

The put on an amazing night, the venue, the entertainment, and, of course, the ceremony itself.
With over 4000 applicants, i was very proud to be runner up for the Best Beauty Entrepreneur in Ireland and England, and this time, i had my buddy by my side.

I'm sure you have heard your nail technician say , "Don't pick your nail polish off."?

Well, here's why... In the before picture, this client came in for her monthly BIAB treatment, only to see she had picked off her polish AND a few layers of her natural nail with it 🫣

By doing this it not only takes off your gel polish, but it also takes the top layers of your nails with it, which can leave your nails with bumps, ridges, peels, and feeling bendy/weak/dry and this in turn can leave the nails vulnerable to infections.

Thankfully, the wonderful Jura came to the rescue. She assessed the area, made sure no infections were there, and rebuilt the natural nail again as best as she could.

So if you're ever tempted to pull off your polish, please remember, there is a nail technician out there, crying inside🤣

P.s. This was my mother. You would think she would know better 🙄
