Traditional Chinese Medicine reminds us that health isn’t about extremes; it’s about rhythm, warmth, and supporting the body’s natural Qi (our vital life energy that fuels digestion, movement, and healing).

I’ve been adding simple TCM practices into my daily routine for a while now and I’ve found them so beneficial for my digestion and my overall nervous system health; I feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to my body.

Simple TCM lifestyle tips:
• Drink warm water
• Eat seasonally and regularly
• Choose warm, nourishing meals
• Allow space between meals
• Avoid late-night eating
• Prioritise rest and stress regulation

Hopping on the vision board trend ✨

Every January I take my time creating a vision board and really tuning into what I want for the year ahead. I’ve been manifesting intentionally for about 7 years now, and alongside vision boards I also write down what I desire as if it has already happened, always with gratitude and thanks.

So many of the things I’ve written down have come to life. It’s only when I look back through old journal entries or Pinterest boards that I realise just how much has manifested. Some visions take years, some only months, but I always trust that they’ll unfold when the timing is right. Big or small.

If you don’t usually make a vision board, maybe this is your sign to try. If nothing else, it’s motivating; and you might be surprised what comes to fruition 🤍

🌿 9 Ways to Manage Acid Reflux Naturally 🌿

1️⃣ Support zinc levels
Zinc is essential for stomach acid production and gut lining repair
Found in pumpkin seeds, eggs, seafood & red meat

2️⃣ Use ginger regularly
Fresh ginger tea or a few slices before or after meals supports stomach emptying and reduces reflux

3️⃣ Calm the nervous system daily
Slow breathing, hand-on-chest/belly holds, humming or gentle tapping help digestion switch on

4️⃣ Eat protein at every meal
Protein stimulates proper stomach acid release and supports digestion

5️⃣ Limit alcohol + sugar together
This combination is especially irritating to the stomach lining

6️⃣ Try apple cider vinegar (if tolerated)
½–1 tsp in warm water before meals may support low stomach acid
(Not suitable for active burning or ulcers)

7️⃣ Chew food until soft
Proper chewing reduces stomach pressure and upward reflux

8️⃣ Eat smaller portions
Overfilling the stomach increases reflux pressure

9️⃣ Avoid late-night meals
Finish eating at least 2–3 hours before bed to allow digestion to settle
