It’s progressive overload.

Doing the same lifts -
and gradually improving them over time.

More weight.
More reps.
Better control.

That’s what forces your body to adapt and build muscle.

What an amazing couple of days with an incredible group of people. ❤️

This was my second time sitting on retreat and, as always, it was a powerful reminder of the work that can happen when you’re willing to go inward. The kind of work where you have to be honest with yourself, face parts of your story, and allow things to move through you.

Watching people arrive with their own intentions and seeing the strength it takes to sit with whatever comes up was genuinely humbling. Everyone showed up with courage in their own way.

Something else that always stands out to me is the connection you build with people in a space like this. When everyone is willing to be so open and vulnerable, it creates a bond that’s hard to describe and something that will stay with me for a long time❤️

For anyone who knows me well, you’ll know I’m a big believer in doing the deeper work on yourself. Not because it’s easy, but because it creates space for growth, clarity, and a different way of moving through life.

Grateful to have shared the space with such a special group of humans this weekend.
Back home now with a lot to reflect on.

The real work begins when you bring what you’ve learned back into your life💫

Why nothing sticks for you.

It’s not because you lack discipline.
It’s because you’re trying to build habits on a broken foundation.

You focus on what to eat, how to train, when to workout.

But you ignore why you self-sabotage. Why you quit when it gets hard. Why you use food to escape emotions you don’t know how to process.

Here’s the truth 👇

Your body is wired for survival, not transformation.

When you’re stressed, exhausted, and your nervous system is dysregulated your body doesn’t care about fat loss. It cares about keeping you safe.

And food? Food regulates your nervous system when nothing else does.

So you can follow the perfect plan. Track every macro. Train 5 days a week.

But if you’re using willpower to override a dysregulated nervous system, you’ll quit the second life gets hard.

Because:

You can’t out-discipline exhaustion.
You can’t out-willpower stress.
You can’t force consistency when your body is in survival mode.

This is why nothing sticks.

And this is why the work I do goes deeper than meal plans and training programs.

We fix the foundation first.
Then the habits stick. 🔒

Growth doesn’t feel comfortable.

It feels like:
Going to the gym when you’re tired.
Prepping something simple instead of ordering in.
Not quitting just because the scale didn’t drop this week.
Showing up when work exploded and the week isn’t perfect.

That’s the part most women don’t expect.

They think change should feel motivating.

But real change feels repetitive.
It feels inconvenient.
It feels unglamorous.

Consistency isn’t about being fired up.

It’s about staying in it
when life is still busy.

That’s where the shift happens.
