Westport Community First Responders

Westport Community First Responders Westport Cardiac First Responders are a group of local trained volunteers who will respond to cardiac emergency calls alongside the National Ambulance Service.

A Cardiac First Responder (CFR) is a person trained to a minimum level of basic life support in CPR and the use of an AED/defibrillator, who attends an actual or potentially life threatening emergency such as a cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke or choking.

Our CFR group was established in November 19.
We, like everyone got stopped with Covid March 20
We returned to active training in April 2021
We went live August 2021 (dispatched by National Ambulance Service (NAS) to cardiac incidents in westport)
We have CPR live saving Training every month since we went live

CPR saves lives. We want to help save more hearts in westport in 2022. Stay tuned here to hear how you can help us help the community
