Lifeguard survey for BT Young Scientists project.

Fourth year students Odhran O’Sullivan and Matthew Herber at CBC in Cork recently got accepted into the BT Young scientists competition for their project ‘Is Chlorine harming the lungs of indoor pool lifeguards?’.

Bravery award for Zoe Lally of Irish Surfing for triple rescue in Easkey.

A Sligo woman has received a bravery award for rescuing three teenagers from the sea. Zoe Lally received a Silver Medal at the National Bravery Award at held in Farmleigh House today for her actions in the saving of three teenagers from drowning off Easkey Pier,
