•
I saw this broken tree stump covered in moss and a fragile eggshell today and thought… this is what healing looks like.
•
Holding space for what’s been cracked, while new life slowly takes root.
•
Just like us in postpartum — tender, transforming, whole in our own time.
•
Each of us carries our own unique story, not to be rushed, not to be compared — only honored for the journey it is. 💞

| Where do we go from here? ✨
•
When birth choices are taken away, it can feel like the ground has shifted beneath us.
But change, and hope, are still possible.
•
Here’s what we can do right now:
đź’ž Stay informed - Know your rights, your options, and where to find evidence-based information.
đź’ž Share your story - Lived experiences matter. They shape policy, awareness, and change.
đź’ž Connect with others - Join birth advocacy groups, local networks, and supportive communities.
đź’ž Ask questions - In every setting, make sure your voice is heard and your needs are respected.
đź’ž Support midwives and birth workers - Their experience and knowledge are essential to keeping choices alive.
•
The road ahead may feel uncertain, but we are stronger together.
•
Every conversation, every letter, every shared story keeps the vision of safe, respectful, choice-filled birth alive.
•
Your voice matters more than ever. đź’ž

| When birthing choices are taken away…
•
It’s not just about the birth.
It’s about autonomy.
It’s about trust.
It’s about feeling safe in one of the most vulnerable and powerful moments of your life.
•
When women and birthing people lose access to choices, like homebirth after cesarean, continuity of midwifery care, or the environment they feel safest in, it can leave deep emotional scars.
It can lead to fear replacing confidence, frustration replacing excitement, and grief replacing trust.
•
Birth is not just a medical event.
It is a deeply human experience that shapes how we see ourselves, our bodies, and our babies for years to come.
•
Every person deserves the right to choose how and where they give birth — with access to the care that aligns with their values, history, and needs.
•
Because when choices are taken away, the impact goes far beyond the day of birth.
•
But this is not the end of the story.
We can speak up.
We can stand together.
We can keep fighting for the choices every birthing person deserves.
•
Your voice matters. Your birth matters. You matter. đź’ž

| A heartbreaking loss for birthing choices in Ireland đź’”
•
Yesterday at 5pm, Private Midwives Ireland closed its doors.
•
This is devastating news for many — especially for those planning a homebirth after a cesarean (HBAC) or seeking continuity of care outside of the hospital system.
•
For so many, this isn’t just about losing a service.
It’s about losing the chance to birth in the way that feels safest, most supported, and most aligned with your needs.
•
If you are feeling heartbroken, angry, anxious, or unsure about what this means for your birth plans, please know you are not alone.
I am here to listen, hold space, and help you explore your options without judgment or pressure.
•
Your birth matters.
Your choices matter.
And your voice still matters; even in the face of this loss.
•
If you need to talk, vent, cry, or simply be heard, my DMs are open.
No agenda, just a safe place in a difficult moment. đź’ž

| Told to "smile like a girl"? Here's what I think ...
•
This morning I overheard a mom telling her daughter to “smile like a girl” for a photo.
It stuck with me.
•
How does one smile like a girl? What does that even mean?
•
And before anyone comes at me — this isn’t about shaming that mom. It’s about noticing how deep these unspoken rules run.
•
From the moment we’re little, we get handed a list:
✨ Dress like a girl.
✨ Walk like a girl.
✨ Talk like a girl.
✨ Sit like a girl.
✨ Smile like a girl.

But then we also hear:
💬 “You run like a girl.”
💬 “You throw like a girl.”
💬 “You fight like a girl.”
•
Suddenly, “like a girl” becomes something small. Something weak. Something to grow out of.
•
And it’s a load of sh*te, honestly.
•
Because girls can be loud.
Girls can be messy.
Girls can be brilliant.
Girls can be fierce.
Girls can be whoever and whatever they want to be.
•
So here’s my challenge to you:
Think back — what “rules” did you get told about being a girl?
Which ones have you broken?
Which ones are you teaching the next generation to throw out entirely?
•
Share in the comments or in your stories and tag me — let’s make “like a girl” mean limitless. 💪

| These are real words from mothers I’ve worked with.
•
“I didn’t know how much I was holding until I said it out loud.”
“I thought I had to just move on. I didn’t know healing was an option.”
“I finally feel like I can breathe again.”
•
Sometimes the transformation starts just by being witnessed.
No fixing. No pushing. Just space to be real.
•
That’s the heart of The Inner Peace Collective.

We begin mid-August.
If you’ve been carrying a lot silently —
you don’t have to anymore.

| The signs no one talks about…
•
It’s not always flashbacks.
Or panic attacks.
Or something “big enough” to call trauma.
•
Sometimes it’s:
👉🏻 Feeling blank when you talk about your experience
👉🏻 Crying without knowing why
👉🏻 Avoiding other people’s stories
👉🏻 Being told “at least you’re both healthy” and shrinking inside
👉🏻 Feeling guilty, or like your pain isn’t valid
👉🏻 Being overly alert all the time
👉🏻 Wanting to forget — but also needing to remember
•
These are quiet signs.
Common signs.
But not normal ones.
And they deserve care.
•
🌿 The Inner Peace Collective is a small, trauma-informed group to help you feel safe, heard, and supported — gently.

We begin mid-August.
💛 DM me “PEACE” to ask anything or book a free call.

You’re not broken. You’re not alone.

| It's A LOT!!
•
From managing naps, meals, appointments, emotional check-ins, and the never-ending list of things that no one else even sees…
You are doing so much more than anyone gives you credit for.
•
And when you finally snap or shut down or feel like you’re failing—
You start to wonder if it’s just you.
If you’re not cut out for this.
If everyone else is handling it better.
•
Let me be clear:
You are not the problem!!!
The culture that expects mothers to function without real support is.
•
If no one else has told you this—
I see you.
And you deserve more.
•
That’s exactly what I’m building—real, consistent, meaningful support for mothers.
•
Coming May 2025.
Want in early? Drop a “YES” in the comments and I’ll send you a little preview.
