🎃👻 Spooktacular Halloween Fun! 👻🎃

On Friday, 31st October, we had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween with our residents! 🎶🧁
There was live music, sweets and treats, fancy dress, and plenty of fun and laughter all around.

A big thank you to Sinead and Sarah for bringing along the adorable Pepsi and Matilda, our therapy dogs 🐶💜 — it’s always such a treat to have them join in the spooktacular fun!

What a wonderful day filled with smiles, spooky costumes, and lots of happy memories! 🕸️🕷️✨

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Fun! 🎃

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got into the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins this week! 🪓✨
Everyone had a turn cleaning them out — with plenty of laughter, fun, and a few eeky moments while scooping out all those slippery seeds! 😄

It’s just not Halloween without carving pumpkins, and what a fantastic afternoon it turned out to be! 🎃💛

🎃 Halloween Fun at Castlebridge! 👻

On Friday last week, our residents were treated to a wonderful visit from the children of Castlebridge National School, who joined us for a Halloween parade and the most beautiful sing-song — we were even spoiled with a lovely Irish dance performance! 💃🕺

It’s always such a joy to welcome the children — their energy, smiles, and talents bring so much happiness to our residents. 💛

A big thank you to all the children and their fantastic teachers for putting on such a delightful show. You all looked amazing in your costumes and truly brightened our day! 🎶🎭🎃

Our residents had a spooktacular time last week getting into the Halloween spirit by making their own Halloween biscuits and chocolate-dipped marshmallows! 👻🍫
The delicious treats were perfectly timed for our afternoon movie, making it a cosy and fun-filled day for everyone. 🧡🕸️

🌷 Wishing Geena All the Very Best! 🌷

Today we say a heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful CNM, Geena, who has been part of the Castlebridge family since 2019. 💙

Geena has been an incredible leader — kind, caring, and always dedicated to both residents and staff. Her compassion, professionalism, and gentle nature will be truly missed by everyone here.

She has now moved on to a new chapter in her career, and while we’re sad to see her go, we are so proud of her and wish her every success in her new role. 🌟

Thank you, Geena, for everything you’ve done for Castlebridge — for your warmth, your hard work, and the difference you’ve made every single day. 💐

🎃👻 Spooky Season Teamwork! 👻🎃

A big thank you to some of our wonderful residents who helped pack special goodie bags for the children from Castlebridge National School! 🎒🍬

We’re so excited to welcome the boys and girls this Friday for a fun-filled Halloween parade and singsong here at the home. 🧙‍♀️🕸️

Our residents had great fun getting everything ready — lots of smiles, laughter, and maybe even a few sneaky sweets sampled along the way! 😉🎶💛

🍂🎨 Autumn Art & Sensory Fun! 🎨🍂

Our residents got wonderfully creative today during our Arts & Crafts session, painting beautiful trees and using real crushed autumn leaves to bring their artwork to life! 🍁🍃

The dried leaves added a lovely sensory touch — the textures, colours, and natural scents made it a truly calming and engaging activity for everyone. 🌿✨

Such a joyful way to celebrate the beauty of autumn while keeping hands busy and minds relaxed. ❤️
