Our residents enjoyed another heartwarming afternoon at our monthly Coffee Shop right here at the nursing home. With delicious treats lovingly prepared by our kitchen team and plenty of laughs shared over a hot cup of tea or coffee, it’s always a highlight of the month! 💛

There’s nothing quite like good cake and great company to brighten the day. ✨

We turned Castlebridge Manor into the HOTTEST dance floor today — residents and staff gave it everything in the viral and let’s just say... TikTok isn’t ready for us! 😎🎶

We’ve found this adorable little dog just outside our front door this morning , They’re safe and sound with us for now, but we’d love to reunite them with their owner as soon as possible! 💕 please get in touch.

🌾🐷 Day Trip Fun at Blackwater Open Farm! 🐐🌻

What a fantastic day our residents had on their trip to Blackwater Open Farm! 🚌💨 From friendly animals to beautiful scenery and plenty of fresh country air, it was smiles all around.

There were laughs, cuddles with the goats, delicious tea and cake, and lots of heartwarming moments. 🥰🐑☕️

A big thank you to the amazing staff who made the day so special — and of course, to our wonderful residents whose joy made it unforgettable! 💛

Are you a local maker, crafter, baker, or small business owner? This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your products, meet the community, and enjoy a fun-filled day with residents, families, and visitors! 🌟

🎬✨ Lights, Camera, Action at Castlebridge Manor! ✨🎬

Something exciting has been happening behind the scenes… Recently, a lovely film crew visited our home to shoot scenes for an upcoming project — and a few of our wonderful residents even got to be in front of the camera! 📽️🌟

We’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but let’s just say there were plenty of smiles, giggles, and proud moments all around. 💛

🌟 Calling All Local Stallholders! 🌟

We’re excited to share that our Nursing Home is hoping to host a Family Day Market on Thursday, 21st August from 14:00 to 17:00, and we’d love for YOU to be part of it!

Before we send out official invitations, we're putting the feelers out to see if there’s interest from local vendors who might like to take part by running a stall on the day.
We’re hoping to make this a big community event, with fun for all ages, and we’re also using this opportunity to raise funds for the WSPCA – a cause close to many of our hearts.

👉 There will be a small charge for each stall, and all proceeds from stall fees will be donated directly to the WSPCA.

🌸 Our residents will also be taking part, running a stall of their own with homemade goodies they’ve prepared with care.
At this stage, nothing is set in stone — we’re just testing the waters to gauge interest. If you're a local business, craftsperson, food vendor, or community group and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you!

We are beyond grateful to the incredible women’s group who have once again shared their time, care, and creativity by making more beautiful sensory blankets for our residents here at Castlebridge Manor 💜

Each blanket is a labour of love — filled with textures, colours, and thoughtful details that bring comfort, calm, and joy to those living with dementia or sensory needs. These gifts are more than just blankets; they’re a reminder that community truly cares.

Our Care Team are highly skilled and committed to meeting our residents’ medical, physical, spiritual and social needs in a secure and comfortable environment.
