So today , is my 2nd day of reducing dairy in my diet after being reminded the other night of the horrors that animals endure because of human selfishness.
I've always known these astrosaties went on and that's why I've been vegetarian most of my life , dairy is the hardest thing to give up but I'm taking baby steps to move away from it, not because I don't like it , but because when I look down the line at the suffering that was endured to produce that item I just can't bear to think .
I also think about karma , and our karma will come around because of our actions.
I'm sorry this page is not supposed to be about changing people's diets or offending people , but it is a huge part of my philosophy as a wellness practioneer and the services I offer , I do so in an effort to bring more peace Into the world , if I can help you find some peace , then that peace will pass onto your family, friends, neighbours and animals .
We cannot say we are peaceful beings if we continue to add to the suffering that happens in this world.
And one of the petals of yoga is ' ahimsa ' which means you will not cause any violence .
I'm sorry to post this here , but I feel very strongly about animal protection and welfare , today is my 2nd day with no milk in my tea or coffee , I've had a little biscuit with it instead , milk is the product of extreme suffering to animals and do we want that on our consciousness?
Peace in this world begins by what we eat ...
Can we do this together? Or make baby steps towards a more peaceful and just world? To think of others and not only ourselves ... I am far from perfect ! But let's help each other?

Lots of love & light

Also on another note ... After watching the documentary the other night ' Dairy's dirty secret ' the perpetrators of the animal violence ... Are obviously suffering themselves immensely on the inside ... To cause this pain and suffering to innocent animals they are obviously in pain themselves .... Again ... This does not happen when we live a more peaceful life ... When we find inner balance , this is why another of my mantra is ' we cannot pour from an empty cup ' where is our place in this world if we fail to look after ourselves first ... It's not selfish , it's vital ###
