🔴Wear Red Day - Friday 20th March 🔴

This Friday, March 20th, 2026, the Immigrant Council of Ireland is inviting individuals and organisations across Ireland to take part in Wear Red Day, a national moment of solidarity against racism and discrimination.
This simple but powerful initiative encourages people to wear red as a visible sign of support for inclusion, equality, and respect for all members of our communities.

Staff at Wexford Local Development will participate by wearing red on the day. By doing so, we demonstrate our commitment to the organisation’s core values of respect, equality, inclusion, integrity, leadership and opportunity for everyone, regardless of background.

As an organisation that works closely with diverse individuals and communities, Wexford Local Development plays an important role in promoting understanding, dignity, and belonging.

Participation can be as simple as wearing a red jumper, scarf, tie, or accessory.

By wearing red on March 20th, staff at Wexford Local Development will join thousands of others across Ireland in making a visible, united stand. Together, this collective action helps foster respect, celebrate diversity, and affirm that everyone belongs.

A big thank you to Anthony Jones from AMJ Financial here in Wexford and member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table Foundation who recently donated $2,000 to IG2T. Conor Bergin, Office Manager with IG2T, welcomed Anthony to the centre, showed him around and introduced him to some of our Counsellors. He was very happy to learn firsthand of the important work that we do here in Wexford and equally happy to be able to provide financial support for "this wonderfully caring charity".
