Cancer hasn’t stopped during the pandemic and neither has the demand for services. The Irish Cancer Society relies heavily upon Daffodil Day so that they can be there for all those affected by cancer. By taking part, we make a real difference to thousands of cancer patients and their families. Today let’s do our part to support these services and help in Taking Back from Cancer.

From 6am today we return to a more normal way of being. It’s been a long road and for some, today is one filled with joy and relief, and for others there’s fear and anxiety. Just remember to make the changes that work for you, and re-enter the new ‘normal’ at your own pace, one step at a time.

As we mark World Children's Day November 20th 2021 hopefully we will see a better future for our children who have suffered so much over the past 2 years trying to understand and navigate their way through a World Pandemic. As adults, with fully matured functioning brains, we find it hard to understand what's happening in our world. Imagine trying to process it through the mind of a child!!
Let's do our best to support them.

Our final practice of the weekend is one called ‘The Mountain Meditation’. This practice allows us to bring to mind the strength and magnificence of a mountain and how it symbolises our own inner strength and magnificence. This is a powerful metaphor to remind us of our inner strength and ability to cope with the challenges of life. We often need to remind ourselves of our resilience and our ability to deal with difficulties.
