Our Story
Yoga Kula was founded by Shauna Oβ Sullivan in 2016. I am passionate about health & well being especially about slowing down the aging process. I trained with world renowned Yoga teachers Gregor Maehle & Monica Gauci in Perth W.A. When I returned from Australia I began my Shiatsu training. ( Shiatsu is a physical therapy that originates from Japan) using pressure, touch and manipulative techniques it is used to treat pain, muscle pain, anxiety, stress and depression. I use both yoga and shiatsu techniques in a unique way to treat and balance body and mind.
Through the blend of breath, movement, meditation, relaxation and self awareness we slowly bend and stretch the body, this promotes fresh blood and nerve flow revitalise all major glands and organs. Unlike other forms of exercise that develop fitness by stressing the body, my aim in our classes is to build strength, flexibility and endurance while lowering the stress hormones that age us.
