∞ Thank you all so much for your support, I cannot wait to see how this story unfolds! I've created a private group to sit alongside my new business page Sandy Connolly Doula - Your Virtual Village. The good Doula from the East meets the good Doula from the West and the energy is electric. An impromtu meet with this amazing lady Sandy Connolly Doula and the conversation flows.

Though we only had a short amount of time we talked all things pregnancy, supporting our mommas, how we support our community, breastfeeding and very inportantly how we care for our own mental, physical and emotional health. ❤️ Love this inspiring lady x

Had such a lovely afternoon with friends at the
Couldn’t help but get emotional listening to talk about supporting new mums to breastfeed. I loved her analogy about babies starting to walk, just because they fall doesn’t mean they should give up.
I can’t believe I’m still breastfeeding at 4months. There were so many times I didn’t think I’d even get through that particular feed. I felt like I was waiting for a bus, I’d been waiting for so long that I didn’t want to give up and walk, I knew the bus was just around the corner. Now I feel like we’re both sitting in the front seat on the top deck and I’m so happy I was strong enough to get here. I had to buy a print from to celebrate our resilience.
Was such a nice surprise to bump into Sandy from who has reached out to me several times to offer encouragement and support and has to be given credit for helping me get to this point ❤️❤️. Any new mum would be lucky to work with her 🙌🏻. I know that I’m lucky to have received so much help and support and that for some ppl that’s not so easy to access. Everyone’s journey is unique and I’ve learnt you can never judge anyone’s decisions without taking time to understand them 🙌🏻

🦋What an ah-may-zing day we had today at the Friends of Breastfeeding All About Baby Fair representing for the Doula Association of Ireland.
🦋It's so empowering to see so many passionate advocates and supporters and champions of Breastfeeding all together under one roof. It gives me chills/oxytocin/hope for the future being part of it.
🦋Here's to an amazing day put together by volunteers, and cake in celebration of Friends of Breastfeeding supporting breastfeeding families for 10 years in Ireland. Here's to many many many more ahead of you as an organisation. Keep up your incredible work. Sandy 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
