What a fantastic first week at our Retiree Strength & Mobility Program at

It was brilliant to see everyone coming in, getting involved, supporting each other, leaving feeling stronger, more confident and sharing a laugh.

This program is designed to help you:

Improve strength and mobility, Move more comfortably in everyday life ,
Improve balance and confidence, Stay active in a safe and welcoming environment.

No pressure, just a great group of people looking to feel better, move better, and enjoy training together.

The feedback after Week 1 has been amazing, and we’re excited to keep building from here.

Most workplace wellbeing initiatives are built around structure.

But people don’t always thrive in structured environments.

This weekend, I brought together a mix of staff from across different departments from Specialist Group that have separate roles, and ways of thinking and simply changed the setting.
The location was the amazing Urris lakes on the Inishowen peninsula.

No pressure. No forced interaction. Just movement and space.
,
The result?
• More natural communication.
• Reduced social pressure.
• Better understanding across teams.
• Genuine connection.

We battled the elements on this 10km hike and had a great laugh doing it. What at times seemed like a struggle, the bond that was created along the way through the scenic views, conversation, story telling, slips and soggy shoes will definitely not be forgotten.

At RH Health & Fitness, we take an approach that ensures people feel comfortable being themselves and that days like these are not just a structured team bonding day.

Stopping off at Nancy's Barn Ballyliffin for their amazing food was the perfect way to finish off memorable morning. Thanks again to the staff for their wonderful service

Stress is something so many people carry quietly.

It does not always show up in big, obvious ways.
Sometimes it looks like poor sleep, low energy, overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, or struggling to switch off even when your body is exhausted.

The truth is, stress can affect every part of your life, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is downplaying their own stress because someone else seems to have more on their plate.

But stress is not a competition.

You do not need to wait until you are at breaking point to take it seriously. You do not need to justify how you feel. And you do not need to struggle in silence just because somebody else may be facing something different.

Taking control of stress starts with being honest about it.
That might mean slowing down, resting properly, moving your body, setting better boundaries, taking time away from constant noise, or giving yourself space to breathe and reset.

No matter how small your stress may seem, it still matters. Support is not only for crisis point. Speaking up is not a weakness, it is a strength, self-awareness, and self-respect.

Take care of yourself. Protect your peace. And remember, you do not have to carry everything alone.
