🌿 Young Nettle Cure! Once again, as every spring...
Instead of synthetic supplements from the pharmacy, I choose pure plant biochemistry. As a naturopath, I know that nature offers the strongest regeneration for free, and right now, young nettle is the foundation of my annual treatment. I use it in the form of a green power smoothie with avocado, apple, spinach, and barley grass.
Why does it work for me? Bioactive composition:
Vitamins: B-complex, K, C, and A – supporting the nervous system and immunity.

If you have 45 minutes 3-4 times a week, don’t waste your time on cardio alone. Invest it in strength training. You don’t even need to leave the house – home sessions with weights work wonders!
Why is it worth focusing on muscle right now?
✅ Boosted metabolism: Muscle is metabolically active. The more you have, the more calories you burn... even while you’re resting on the couch!
✅ Drastic change in body composition: As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass, and fat takes its place. Strength training stops this process, truly changing how you look and how your clothes fit.

After the cleansing phase, it’s time for mindful nourishment. My new foundation consists of 70% vegetables, fruits, and grains, now joined by legumes and fish. Meat? Only in small amounts, maximum twice a week. 🐟🍎
Remember, our diet should change with the seasons—the body needs different support in winter than it does in summer. ❄️☀️

SPRING DETOX THROUGH THE EYES OF A NATUROPATH: How to awaken your energy according to Traditional Chinese Medicine? 🌿
In my naturopathic practice, I often combine modern knowledge with the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Winter is a time when we naturally consume more meat and heavy, warming dishes. While these were necessary to endure the cold, they often leave behind what we call "damp-heat" in the body.
Spring is the perfect moment to clear this accumulation and unblock our Liver—the organ responsible for the smooth flow of energy (Qi) during this season. If you feel heaviness, frustration, or a lack of motivation, your body is calling for support.
What is specifically recommended during this period?
✅ Green Alchemy and Alkalization 🥦
Spring loves the color green and the sour taste. In your diet, spring cleansing based on alkaline products, excluding animal products, is highly recommended. A plant-based menu rich in spring greens, spinach, kale, young barley, or chlorella helps restore acid-base balance, "rejuvenates" the blood, and removes accumulated dampness without straining the digestive system.

Day 4 of my spring cleanse and… a bit of a logistical challenge! 🏔️✨
Waking up at 5:20 AM, a long commute to work, followed by a gentle session at the gym (I focused on a very light workout today, listening to my body’s needs). My biggest success so far is strictly sticking to the plan—another day with no coffee and no compromises! ☕🚫
The key to surviving such an intense day away from home was preparing my meals and packing them in advance. In healthy eating, planning is the foundation. Without doing the shopping beforehand and having your containers ready in your bag, it simply won't work.
Don't rely on "willpower" alone—it’s the first thing to fail when we are tired, hungry, and on the road. That’s when solid preparation saves the day! 🍱💪
I am investing my time in my health because I know it’s worth it. My "on-the-go" menu for today:
🥣 Breakfast: Warming quinoa porridge with baked pear.
🥗 Lunch: Millet with plenty of vegetables and tofu.

Day 3 of my cleansing and de-acidifying journey – and you know what? I feel absolutely amazing! ✨ Mood 11/10, energy levels are through the roof, so I even managed to squeeze in a light workout this morning. 💪
Today's breakfast was a total "power bowl":
🥗 Quinoa with creamy avocado and crunchy veggies.
💥 The star of the plate: red sauerkraut (the best natural probiotic for alkalizing!).
🥤 To wash it down: h**p protein mixed with young barley.

Good morning from Wicklow! ☀️ The day has finally arrived – time to start the spring cleanse! 🌱✨
I’ve been fully focused on self-care since early morning:
⚖️ Morning weigh-in – starting point officially recorded!
🪥 Dry body brushing – it’s brilliant for stimulating the lymphatic system, firming the skin, and acting as a natural exfoliant.
☕️ Hot water with fresh ginger – this is my "internal shower" after the night, perfectly waking up my metabolism, followed by a cup of green tea.
🏃‍♀️ 15-minute morning warm-up – it might seem short, but it works wonders! I immediately feel my blood circulating faster and my body coming to life.
🥣 Breakfast: Millet porridge with baked apple and goji berries – delicious and highly alkalising!
Why is alkalising so crucial?
It’s not just about energy; it’s the very foundation of health. An alkaline environment equals health, whereas an acidic body is where inflammation and tumours develop more easily. Alkalising provides real support in recovering from chronic illnesses and gives the body a chance to regenerate at a cellular level. ✨
What’s on the menu for the rest of the day?
🥗 Lunch: Vegetable fritters (courgette, potato, carrot) and a bowl of salad with olive oil.
🌳 After lunch: A one-hour walk in the fresh air.
🧖‍♀️ Evening: Sauna session to help flush out toxins.
🥣 Dinner: Beetroot soup and green beans.
I must admit, I’m holding off on intense workouts during this cleanse. I’ll miss that "push," but this is a healing diet – the body needs peace and regeneration right now, not extra strain. It’s worth listening to it! 💪

It’s time to refresh the body and recharge those batteries! Today is the day to make a solid shopping list. What’s going in the cart? We’re going all-natural, preferably organic (BIO):
🥕 Veggie Base: Carrots, beets, parsley root, celery, zucchini, pumpkin, kohlrabi.
🥗 Green Power & Freshness: Spinach, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, and fresh parsley.
🍋 Natural Boosters: Fresh ginger, lemons, apples, and pears.
🌾 The Essentials: Millet (the queen of grains!) and liquid gold—extra virgin olive oil plus healing oils (milk thistle, flaxseed, evening primrose, and sea buckthorn).
🌿 Flavor & Health: Herbes de Provence, thyme, oregano, basil, black sesame, and goji berries.
We kick off Saturday morning with a warm bowl of millet cooked in water with goji berries. The secret touch? Topping it all off with toasted black sesame for that amazing nutty aroma and an extra health kick! 😋🖤

🌿 SPRING DETOX: UNBLOCK YOUR LIVER! Starting March 7th 🌿
After winter, our bodies need a "spring cleaning." According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we are entering the Wood Element—a time for Liver regeneration and clearing the flow of Qi energy. 🌳✨
Why should you join?
This process actively supports the body in managing chronic conditions, calms inflammation, and is the key to natural weight regulation. Once you unblock your metabolism and clear winter stagnation, your weight begins to return to its natural balance.

FIRST, STOP HURTING YOURSELF! 🚫🔥
As a Naturopath, I am constantly asked the same question: "What should I take to be healthy? Which supplements should I add?"
My answer often surprises people because it’s simple: Before you add anything, start subtracting. 🛑
The most important step is what you REMOVE from your daily life, not what you add to it. The most expensive supplementation will do very little if your lifestyle is broken. It won't cancel out the damage from addictions, junk food, or a lack of movement.
Want the foundations of health? Start here:
🚬 STOP smoking and va**ng. Stop poisoning your system every single day.
🍺 STOP drinking alcohol regularly. It’s a total roadblock for your recovery and regeneration.
🛋 STOP the "couch potato" lifestyle. Your body was built to move! If you don't exercise yet, start with at least a 30-minute walk every day. 🚶‍♂️
🍔 STOP eating processed junk. Go back to simple, real food. This is what builds your health—not powders from colorful jars.
Of course, when dealing with specific medical conditions, I use an individualized approach because everyone is different. But these rules above? They are the universal foundation for everyone. 🏗️
Supplements and advanced therapies are just the "cherry on top." Without a solid base, the whole thing collapses. 🍰
Start with the basics. Your health begins with the choices you make every day. 🙌✨
