Mother’s Day Reflection 💛
When we board a plane, the safety announcement always says the same thing:
“Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.”
It sounds simple.
Yet for so many mothers, it’s the exact opposite of how we live.
Mothers are the ones who stay up late, get up early, hold everyone together, and quietly carry the emotional load of a family.
They give and give… often leaving themselves until last.
But the truth is this:
A mother who is nourished, rested, and supported doesn’t just feel better herself — she changes the atmosphere of an entire home.
Your energy matters.
Your wellbeing matters.
Your joy matters.
So today, on Mother’s Day, perhaps the most powerful thing a mother can do…
is to mother herself first.
Take the walk.
Drink the water.
Eat the nourishing food.
Ask for help.
Rest without guilt.
Because when you care for yourself well, everyone around you receives the very best of you.
Happy Mother’s Day to the women who give so much love to the world. 💛
