פראנאם🪔
במחולות ההודים, פראנאם הוא מושג חשוב מאוד – גם מבחינה תרבותית וגם מבחינה רוחנית.
נוהגים לעשות אותו לפני תחילת התרגול ולעיתים גם בסופו.
פירושו: השתחוות, קידה או מחווה של כבוד.
זהו אקט של ברכה, תודה וענווה כלפי:
• האדמה – על כך שהיא נושאת את הרקדן.
• המורה (גורו) – על הידע וההנחיה.
• האלים או האנרגיה האלוהית – על ההשראה.
• הקהל – על הנוכחות וההקשבה.

In Indian dance, Pranam is a very significant concept – both culturally and spiritually.
It is usually performed before beginning the practice and sometimes also at the end.
Its meaning is: bowing down, salutation, or a gesture of respect.
It is an act of blessing, gratitude, and humility towards:
• The earth – for supporting the dancer.
• The teacher (Guru) – for the knowledge and guidance.
• The gods or divine energy – for the inspiration.
• The audience – for their presence and attention.
