Self-inquiry is the skill of making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.

Some fears we don’t face head-on. Instead, we build our lives around them.
We avoid the conversation. We stay in the role that feels safe. We choose silence over risk.
The fear doesn’t disappear—it just quietly shrinks the size of our world.
Maybe we're not yet ready to face it- but can we turn toward courage and openly name it?

Self-inquiry is the skill of responding to discomfort by making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.

We all have areas in life where we know we should do things differently, we know that there is some move we should be making somewhere, but we're not doing it. Maybe we tell ourselves that we aren't ready- and maybe that's true. But maybe we're just scared. Scared of the commitment, scared of failure, scared of discomfort. So what then?
That's where turning toward courage comes in. When we turn toward courage we aren't necessarily doing anything different, but we are pointing ourselves in that direction by openly acknogekbg that in this area we'd like to be acting more in line with our values. Turning toward courage means that we do this without needing to judge ourselves. We're all works in progress, and there's no shame in owning that.
So here's this week's theme and today's self-inquiry question:
Where in my life have I not yet turned toward courage, and can I allow myself to do that today?
Self-inquiry is the skill of responding to discomfort by making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.

Sometimes other people see things in us we’re not ready to face—both the hard truths and the good ones.
Elul invites us to pause and ask: What truth about me have others already named that I keep pushing away?
Maybe it’s a strength I minimize. Maybe it’s a weakness I excuse. Either way, seeing it clearly could be the first step toward change.

Self-inquiry is the skill of responding to discomfort by making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.

We all have patterns that run on autopilot. Elul isn’t about changing them overnight—it’s about finding one place to pause, notice, and practice choosing differently.

So... what patterns in my life feel like they own me, and how might I reclaim choice?

Self-inquiry is the skill of responding to discomfort by making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.

We’re quick to name our flaws, slow to honor our contributions. Elul is an invitation to notice even the smallest sparks of good you’ve already placed in the world—and to let them count.

Self-inquiry is the skill of responding to discomfort by making room for curiosity and questions. Allowing the questions to linger without rushing to an answer allows us to expand our comfort zone and learn new things about ourselves.
