سعيد بالمشاركة في دورة Mayo Elbow Course – Teach the Teachers لهذا العام، والتي ركزت على جراحة تبديل مفصل الكوع (Elbow Arthroplasty). في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

كانت فرصة مميزة للقاء أصدقاء وزملاء من مختلف أنحاء العالم، وتبادل الخبرات والأفكار ومناقشة أحدث التقنيات والتحديات في جراحة الكوع.

مثل هذه اللقاءات العلمية لا تقتصر فقط على التعليم، بل تساهم في تطوير المعرفة وتحسين مستوى الرعاية الطبية التي نقدمها لمرضانا.

Very happy to participate in this year’s Mayo Elbow Course – Teach the Teachers, which focused on Elbow Arthroplasty.

It was a great opportunity to meet friends and colleagues from around the world, exchange knowledge and experiences, and discuss the latest advances and challenges in elbow surgery.

These scientific meetings are not only about learning, but also about advancing collaboration and improving patient care through shared experience and innovation.

سعيد بمشاركتي في المؤتمر السنوي لجراحة العظام، حيث قدمنا 5 من أبحاثنا العلمية.
كانت تجربة مميزة ومليئة بالنقاشات العلمية الثرية وتبادل الخبرات مع الزملاء.

أكثر ما لفت انتباهي هو المستوى المميز لأطبائنا المقيمين، سواء في العرض أو المشاركة الفعالة في الجلسات العلمية. نفتخر بجهودهم وتطورهم المستمر، وهم فعلاً مستقبل هذا التخصص.

I’m pleased to have participated in the annual Orthopedic Conference, where we presented 5 of our research projects.
It was a great experience filled with scientific discussions and professional exchange.

What impressed me the most was the outstanding performance of our residents, both in their presentations and their active participation throughout the sessions. We are truly proud of their progress—they represent the future of our field.

هذه الصور قد تلمّح إلى آلية محتملة لتطوّر تشوّه fishtail في المرفق، حيث يبدو أن الجزء الداخلي من الـ trochlea ناقص أو غير متطور. لا يزال غير واضح ما إذا كان السبب هو ردّ غير دقيق للكسر في البداية، أو اضطراب في التروية الدموية لهذه المنطقة، والتي تُعرف بأنها ذات إمداد دموي حساس نسبيًا.

بشكل عام، إصابات المرفق عند الأطفال قد يتم التقليل من شأنها أحيانًا، بسبب مرونة الأنسجة ووجود نسبة كبيرة من الغضروف، مما يجعل التقييم الشعاعي أكثر صعوبة. إضافةً إلى ذلك، قد لا يكون هناك متابعة طويلة الأمد بشكل كافٍ. لذلك، قد يظهر بعض المرضى لاحقًا في سن أكبر مع تيبّس أو تشوّه في المفصل.

These findings may suggest a possible mechanism for the development of a fishtail deformity, where the lateral aspect of the trochlea appears hypoplastic or absent. It remains unclear whether this is related to initial malreduction or to a disturbance in the vascular supply to this region, which is known to be relatively vulnerable.

In general, pediatric elbow injuries may sometimes be underestimated, partly due to soft tissue elasticity and the cartilaginous nature of the immature elbow, which makes radiographic assessment more challenging. In addition, long-term follow-up is not always consistent. As a result, some patients may present later in life with stiffness or deformity.

كسر مع خلع في الجزء القريب من عظم العضد (Proximal Humerus Fracture-Dislocation) من الإصابات المعقدة التي تتطلب تدخلاً دقيقاً وسريعاً.
تم التعامل مع الحالة بنجاح من خلال رد الخلع وإجراء تثبيت داخلي باستخدام صفيحة وبراغي (ORIF)، مع استعادة المحاذاة التشريحية للمفصل.
