تم إنشاء مشروع الدفيئة الزراعية "البيت البلاستيكي" في جمعية مركز برج اللقلق المجتمعي كجزء من مشروع ممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي بهدف دعم النساء الرياديات والمهمشات في القدس الشرقية. الدفيئة الزراعية توفر نباتات زينة داخلية وخارجية (زهور ونباتات)، نباتات طبية وأشتال خضروات. عشرة نساء مقدسيات يعملن يومياً في الدفيئة حيث يتحملن مسؤولية الإنتاج والبيع. وجود الدفيئة الزراعية في البلدة القديمة له قيمة كبيرة في قلوب الفلسطينيين لأنها تعتبر أول دفيئة في البلدة القديمة في القدس. The greenhouse project located at Burj Luq Luq Social Center Society was established as part of an EU funded project aiming to support female entrepreneurs and vulnerable women living in East Jerusalem. The greenhouse provides growing indoor and outdoor decoration plants (flowers and plants), medical plants and vegetable seedlings. Ten Jerusalemite women are working on a daily basis in the greenhouse where they are responsible to produce and sell. The existence of the greenhouse in the old city has a great value in the heart of Palestinians, especially for it being the first greenhouse in the Old City of Jerusalem.
