International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Doula with 7 years experience as a Canadian Midwife, where I clinically supported over 300 women during their pregnancy, birth (at home or in Hospital) and postpartum (duration of 6 weeks) for the mother and baby. In these years practicing as a registered midwife I gained invaluable experience problem solving pregnancy, labour and birth, maternal, baby and breastfeeding challenges. I am an expert in supporting, normal, unmedicated labour and in problem-solving to maintain its normal path. I believe in Informed Choice during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum. That women deserve to have all the information about procedures commonly used, and their risks and benefits. While practicing as a midwife in Canada I also was a midwifery client during the pregnancy, birth and postpartum of my two children. Both of my births took place in my home, under the expert care of my midwives.
