Perfect Rythm of Movement & Breath
Hi, I'm Michael, and I teach Yantra Yoga, the practices of breathing and moving in unison, combined with awareness
In Yantra Yoga we discover our natural capacity for complete / diaphragmatic breathing and unify that capacity with movements of both body and mind, thereby increasing our ability to remain present in all our daily activities, thus safeguarding ourselves from fixating on objects and thoughts, a phenomenon which commonly leads us to lose our emotional balance many times during the day.
In addition, working with, and gaining knowledge of our Pranas, we increase all kinds of capacities related to our energy, which help:
* Increase vital bodily functions such as digestion and sleep etc.
* Refreshes the air circulation in our body which increases our vigour
* Relieve ailments of various internal organs
In addition, the practice of Yantra Yoga brings many benefits on the mind level:
* Increasing mental fortitude
* Increasing clarity of mind and cognitive abilities
* Help us rest the mind in its natural condition, beyond the troubles of daily life
Yantra Yoga also brings benefits on the physical level:
* Helps to balance the HPA axis, thereby promoting hormonal balance
* Reduces stiffness of muscles and tensions carried within them
* Helps to discover a naturally relaxed way to engage our body in usual day to day activities
All these and so much more are possible because Yantra Yoga works with body, breath and mind on a very deep level and integrates them together
