Praying for and supporting the work of Rambam Health Care Campus, a 1,000-bed teaching hospital serving the more than two million people of Northern Israel.
We are the tertiary referral center and Level 1 Trauma center in the region. Rambam Health Care Campus (HCC) is the largest academic referral medical center in Northern Israel. Treating people of every race and creed in the region, throughout Israel, and neighboring Mediterranean countries, their expertise, research, and proactive stand to protect patients is recognized worldwide. reated to provide their Christian friends with more information on how to pray for Rambam HCC and the people impacted by their services. Prayer changes things. You've been told to pray for Israel, but how do you do that? By being specific. By praying for Rambam HCC, you have the unique opportunity of praying for the people of Israel in a specific and meaningful way. As a major medical center responsible to a population of over two million people, as well as defense and peace keeping forces who come to us for aid, Rambam HCC treats more trauma victims than any other hospital in Israel. Strategically located in Haifa, between a navy base and major port, Rambam HCC is literally on Israel's front line. The Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital serves as an underground parking lot (1,500 cars) in peacetime, but during times of war, it converts, within 72 hours, into a fully functioning 2,000-bed hospital--the largest of its kind in the world--fortified against conventional and unconventional (biochemical and chemical) warfare. This and many other projects underway at Rambam focus on safe and secure health care for the people of Northern Israel. Thank you in advance for bringing the needs of our patients and health care professionals before the throne of grace, and for considering how you can become part of the answer to your prayers.

Healing Under Ballistic Missile Fire: Rambam's Underground Hospital Activated
Rambam has opened its Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital (FUEH), ensuring the safety of patients and staff, even while under missile fire. Hundreds of patients, ours and dozens from regional hospitals, are being treated safely in the fully protected facility. All of the hospital’s aboveground and underground surgical suites are fortified and ready for action.
After nearly 15 hours of intense work, a seemingly impossible task was achieved: setup of the FUEH—three underground levels—with designated areas covering the full range of patient care.
As air raid sirens sounded overnight and civilians rushed to shelters, Rambam’s multidisciplinary medical teams performed surgeries and C-sections, delivered babies, and provided compassionate care—safely and securely in the FUEH. Despite the limitations of working underground, medical care is continuing efficiently and uninterrupted.
On Saturday night, June 14, a missile barrage from Iran hit the city of Tamra, northeast of Haifa. The hospital received 14 injured patients, one of whom succumbed to her injuries despite extensive resuscitation efforts. Another 28 patients suffering from anxiety and minor to moderate injuries were also treated. Fortunately, by morning, most of the injured could be released home.
With the education system shut down, Rambam has reopened its underground daycare center to support staff members with children ages 3–12. The center allows staff to fulfill their duties with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe and cared for. An infant daycare area and triage zone are also being prepared.
As missile threats persist—and with 140 staff members called to emergency reserve duty and more than 100 stranded abroad—Rambam’s teams continue to adapt, working side by side to provide uninterrupted care in extraordinary circumstances. The rapid transformation of the underground hospital, the safe transfer of hundreds of patients, and the reopening of the daycare center for staff children all reflect a collective commitment to meeting urgent needs. Although the situation remains uncertain, the hospital’s focus remains clear: ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and their families, no matter the challenges ahead.

It pierces every soul,
crying out to heaven,
palpable in the silence,
visceral in the flinch
before each successive
blow.
Arrogant people have attacked us.
Ruthless men seek our lives.
They have no regard for the God of Israel.
We long to hear His voice …
“How long?” we cry.
We cry out to You all the day long, we stretch out our arms to you
Like a wayward child
yearning for comfort and there is none.
But we call to You for help
Our Creator, we call in the night
and in the morning
Will you finally answer?
Call to us, allure us, woo us, forgive us
And bring YOUR children home.
