دكتور فرانشيسكو روكا رئيس لاتسيو و القنصل الايطالي يزوران جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني في الخليل لتعزيز التعاون الإنساني والصحي
قام السيد فرانشيسكو روكا – رئيس إقليم لاتسيو ورئيس الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر سابقاً – بزيارة إلى جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني في محافظة الخليل، على رأس وفد إيطالي رفيع المستوى ضمّ كلاً من السيد دومينيكو بيلاتو – القنصل الإيطالي، والسيدة سيلفيا كيافيه – المستشارة الدبلوماسية، والسيد كلاوديو ماروتا – المستشار الإقليمي، والسيدة أليسيا بورزاتشييلو – ممثلة منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، والوفد المرافق لهم، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون الإنساني والصحي المشترك.
بدأت الزيارة بجولة في مركز محمد عيد شاهين داخل البلدة القديمة، حيث اطّلع الوفد على الأنشطة والخدمات التي يقدمها المركز لتعزيز صمود المواطنين في المنطقة، وأعقبها جولة ميدانية في أروقة البلدة القديمة برفقة نائب رئيس الجمعية الأستاذ سعيد الخطيب ومدير مكتب رئيس الجمعية الأستاذ سليم القيمري.
وفي محطتها الثانية، زار الوفد مستشفى الهلال الأحمر التخصصي في الخليل، حيث كان في استقبالهم الدكتور طارق الجعبري – رئيس الجمعية، إلى جانب عدد من المدراء والطواقم الطبية والإدارية والمتطوعين.
وقد قام الوفد بجولة شاملة في أروقة المستشفى شملت أقسام الطوارئ، والاطفال والعناية المكثفة، وغرف العمليات، وقسم التصوير الطبي والرنين المغناطيسي ، والمختبرات، ووحدة غسيل الكلى، واطّلع على أحدث التقنيات والأجهزة الطبية الحديثة التي تم إدخالها مؤخراً لتعزيز جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمرضى.
كما استمع الوفد إلى شرحٍ حول خطة تطوير المستشفى ومشروع التوسعة الجاري العمل عليه، بهدف رفع كفاءة الخدمات الطبية التخصصية وتوسيع القدرة الاستيعابية لخدمة أبناء محافظة الخليل والمناطق المجاورة.
ورحّب الدكتور طارق الجعبري بالوفد الضيف ناقلاً تحيات رئيس الجمعية الدكتور يونس الخطيب، مثمناً هذه الزيارة التي تعكس عمق العلاقة والشراكة الإنسانية بين الجانبين، ومؤكداً على أهمية استمرار التعاون وتطويره في المجالات الصحية والإنسانية، ولا سيما في دعم مشروع توسعة المستشفى وتعزيز جاهزيته لتقديم الخدمات لأبناء الشعب الفلسطيني، وبخاصة من قطاع غزة.
من جانبه، عبّر السيد فرانشيسكو روكا عن فخره واعتزازه بالتطور الكبير الذي تشهده مرافق الجمعية في الخليل، وبمستوى الخدمات الطبية المقدمة والتقنيات الحديثة المستخدمة، مؤكداً حرصه على تعزيز التعاون المستقبلي وتبادل الخبرات بما يخدم الرسالة الإنسانية المشتركة ويدعم قدرة الجمعية على تلبية احتياجات المجتمع الفلسطيني.
وفي ختام الزيارة، أكد الدكتور الجعبري بأن الجمعية ستبقى الحاضنة والداعمة لمجتمعنا في كل الظروف، وفيةً لرسالتها الإنسانية في تقديم الخدمات الصحية والإغاثية والاجتماعية لكل من يحتاجها دون تمييز
President of Lazio Dr. Francesco Rocca and the Italian Consul Visit the Palestine Red Crescent Society in Hebron to Strengthen Humanitarian and Health Cooperation
Hebron – The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Hebron received today a high-level Italian delegation headed by Dr. Francesco Rocca, President of the Lazio Region and former President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The delegation included Mr. Domenico Bellato, Italian Consul General; Ms. Silvia Chiave, Diplomatic Advisor; Mr. Claudio Marotta, Regional Advisor; Ms. Alessia Borzacchiello, MENA Representative; Mr. Adriano Valentini, Media Officer; and Mr. Cesare Valsania, Personal Assistant, along with accompanying staff.
The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation in the humanitarian and health sectors.
The program began with a visit to the Mohamed Eid Shaheen Center in the Old City of Hebron, where the delegation was briefed on the center’s services and its role in supporting community resilience. The delegation then toured the alleys of the Old City, accompanied by PRCS Vice President Mr. Saeed Al-Khatib and the Director of the President’s Office, Mr. Salim Al-Qaymari.
The second stop included a comprehensive tour of the Red Crescent Specialized Hospital in Hebron. The delegation was welcomed by PRCS President Dr. Tariq Al-Jabari, alongside directors, medical and administrative staff, and volunteers.
During the tour, the guests visited several departments, including the emergency unit, pediatric and intensive care units, operating rooms, medical imaging and MRI sections, laboratories, and the dialysis center. They were also briefed on the advanced medical technologies recently adopted to improve patient care.
The delegation received an overview of the hospital’s development plan and ongoing expansion project, designed to enhance specialized healthcare services and increase capacity for the residents of Hebron Governorate and surrounding areas.
Dr. Al-Jabari conveyed the greetings of PRCS President Dr. Younis Al-Khatib, expressing deep appreciation for the visit, which reflects the strength of the humanitarian partnership between the two sides. He emphasized the importance of continued cooperation, particularly in supporting the hospital expansion project and enhancing its readiness to serve the Palestinian people—especially those coming from the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Dr. Francesco Rocca praised the significant progress achieved by PRCS facilities in Hebron and highlighted the high quality of medical services and modern technologies in use. He affirmed his commitment to promoting future cooperation and exchanging expertise to support the shared humanitarian mission and strengthen PRCS capacities.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Jabari reaffirmed that the Palestine Red Crescent Society will remain committed to its humanitarian mission, providing health, relief, and social services to all those in need without discrimination
