MOJI thanks the students who participated in last year’s “My World Meets Yours” Student Exchange program and is excited to announce a continuation of that program! Get ready for more learning and cultural exploration with this year’s new program curriculum centered around themes of Innovation and the Inspiration of Entrepreneurship! We can’t wait to get started!!

The MOJI team Sylvie Rozenbaum put together a recap of the successful “My World Meets Yours” Youth Exchange Program from 2020. Here are just a few of the memories from the Zoom meetings during which schools in Jerusalem paired with schools in cities abroad, including Alzenau, Montreal, Cham, Messina, Kempten, Gersthofen, Oberstdorf, Munich, Trento, Braunschweig, and Regensberg in addition to one school in China. During these meetings, students engaged in valuable cross cultural dialogue and forged relationships that transcended borders and distance thanks to the Zoom technology and their enthusiasm and passion. We look forward to beginning another year of these youth delegations and introducing new partners in other global cities!

Last week, the MOJI team gave a sweet farewell to Sarah, who interned in the office for almost a year. Sarah not only brought her passion and hard work to every task, but also brought smiles to everyone’s faces. For a goodbye treat, Merav gave the office’s 3 interns a wonderful tour of the Shuk Machaneh Yehudah where they got to try some classic cultural dishes. Sarah, MOJI wishes you the best of luck and already misses you! 💙

Yesterday we celebrated Jerusalem Day Together with our students, teachers, “my world meets your” program participants, partners, youth workers and with the community of malmö.

Jerusalem, the city that was joined together and that is bringing a all together. The city of breathtaking landscapes, ancient cultures, the city of people.
The city of smells, textures, sounds and taste.

We are glad for the opportunity to share our love to this city in the best possible way, a culinary workshop!

Happy Independence Day!
We paid a tribute to the Israeli Air Force’s Independence Day flyover using our different logos (Youth, Education, Culture, and Sports)
The Israeli Air Force’s Independence Day flyover is an Israeli tradition, the aerobatics will be seen over Tiberias, Nahariya, Acre, Haifa, Tel Aviv beach, Ashdod beach, Ashkelon beach, Jerusalem’s Sacher and Independence parks, as well as the southern city of Beersheba.

In honor of Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers of the Wars of Israel and Victims of Actions of Terrorism), the Delegation program from Alzenau with the Masorati school lit candles for the fallen soldiers.
Together, an Israeli student and a german one read about one soldier and lit a candle in his memory.
