In uncertain times like these, we search for consistency . What has helped me is having a yoga practice . I began a 3 year teacher training program a few weeks after October 7, and it’s been one amazing journey, a solid rock in these crazy years. We’ve met weekly as a group: practicing meditation, pranayama, and asanas. Usually, in the studio, but sometimes it’s had to be on zoom and sometimes like today, in the bomb shelter. מאז המלחמה אני אישית מקבלת המון כוח מהתרגול של היוגה. יותר מ 20 שנה אני מעבירה שיעורים לנשים בהריון. זה היה העוגן שלי כל ההריונות שלי והבנתי כמה זה ממלא ועוזר. אני עדיין פוגשת את היעוד שלי בשיעורים האלה… לתמוך בנשים בתקופה של הריון זה זכות גדול. וכן, יש גם שיעורים לנשים בלי קשר להריון…🙏💃🏻🙏 #לידהכמסע #יוגהלנשיםבהריון

Gila was our amazing guest last week in the Birth as a Journey doula course. Lots and lots of interesting stories from a very passionate midwife! Talked about the microbiome - newborn babies get their first microbiome from their mothers during birth. Talked about the difference between pitocin in labor or after delivery. Talked about how the doula navigates humbly in the delivery room. Talked some truth about the monitor. It was as usual a great pleasure and learning experience having Gila … Talk about positive energy!!!

The Aryuveda clinic is like a kibbutz - we meet and socialize at meal times. You meet people from so many different countries. The fun thing is you usually don’t talk about your work, that we all left behind. We start by swapping treatment stories. It’s not polite to open with “what are you in for?”, that can make newbies understandably nervous…so we glide into the conversation by talking about the treatments. The one thing that I have noticed is that although you are being touched more or less everywhere, and the body in its infinite wisdom starts to unwind…emotions come up, sometimes like a storm, and there is no one to process it with. Rachel and I have each other, and we are both mind/body therapists, so we feel held. But the others? Much less so. Everyone has shared that this is their experience. This is why we plan to lead a retreat here, in the summer of 2026. We will bring a group of women who are committed to their health, which includes an emotional cleansing, and making room for joy, balance, and peace . It’s an opportunity to do the work it takes to clear away whatever is blocking you - In India, with Aryuveda!

הקורס הזה הוא כבר רץ המון המון שנים. פעם תחת השם ״פרפרים בבטן״, אחרי זה ״לידה כמסע״, ועכשיו ? הכנה ללידה עם רחל קימה,בשיטת לידה כמסע, מפרפרים בבטן לשעבר? זה הרבה 😳 להתכונן ללידה עם רחל??? בימים של branding זה כניראה חשוב, אבל יותר חשוב להשקיע בעצמכם לקראת אחת החוויות הכי משמעותיות שתעברו בחיים. קורס הבא יפתח בינואר- אפשר כבר להרשם ושמור לעצמכם מקום.
