nce Center offers you a healthy vacation with professional medical supervision, in a hotel. You can get all the quiet, privacy and treatment that you need, in a Torani atmosphere. The program is open to Kupat Holim insurance holders (prior authorization required). You will stay in a private suite including a bedroom and living room, suitable for one or two people, and receive medical supervision 24 hours a day from our professional staff of nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians, social workers. You will receive three kosher le’mehadrin meals plus snacks, with your menu supervised by a dietician. Facilities at your disposal include physiotherapy, use of our gym, studio and spa, our separate swimming pool, tefillot and a full program of Torah classes and lectures. All these services are offered in our magnificent building in the center of Jerusalem. The Nehora Studio and Spa at the Tovei Hair Residence includes superior gyms and facilities suited to the needs of the religious community, plus new studio rooms and a luxurious spa facility with complete separation between men and women. The Nehora Studio offers a wide range of sport and health activities, including Pilates, aerobics, zumba, toning and shaping, water exercise, massages, hydrotherapy, personal workouts, physiotherapy, sauna and more. Work with our highly-skilled and experienced staff and instructors and there are babysitting services available. The Nehora Spa facilities include a sauna, massage room, hairdresser and pedicure/manicure room. Enjoy beauty and body rejuvenation treatments provided by professional practitioners in a luxurious and modern environment. The Nehora Gym includes a wide range of sophisticated cardio and weight machines, dumbbells and a stretching area. The studio is equipped with large video screens broadcasting only kosher content. Exhilarating Jewish music will make you want to exercise, and the professional gym staff will craft a tailored training program that will help you adopt a healthier life style and lose weight. The Beit Tovei HaIr Indoor Swimming Pool in central Jerusalem is heated all year round (33-34 degrees), accessible to all and supervised by the Ministry of Health. The pool offers a range of individual and group activities including swimming lessons for adults and children (individuals and groups), rehabilitative swimming, hydrotherapy treatments tailored to your medical needs, and group water exercise and water aerobics classes. The Tovei Hair Residence Brain Care Center provides therapeutic activities for individuals with dementia, cognitive dysfunction, and impaired memory. The Center is open five days a week and offers a wide range of individual and group activities with help people with dementia, memory problems, disorientation or cognitive dysfunction, including sports, singing, baking, gardening, brain exercises and computers, and more. All patients are served lunch and all treatments are administered in a respectful manner in a warm, home-like atmosphere that emphasizes modesty and kashrut. Treatments are administered by a professional and supportive team of certified professionals, who make sure to preserve the patient’s dignity, strengthen his or her self-confidence and make him or her feel comfortable and at home. Jerusalem’s only Snoezelen Room is particularly beneficial for elderly people who have dementia and are often agitated or behave erratically. Spending time in this unique multi-sensory environment provides sensory stimulation, creates a balance between activity and relaxation, reduces stress and arouses positive behavior. The room can be used for individual or group sessions of 20-30 minutes.

So why did I move? I am in a wheelchair and have a very good caretaker, but on a daily basis, I was lonely. I discovered that if I don’t have conversations with people every day, I was not only forgetting my Hebrew, but I was losing some English as well.

After 12 days of staying safe, we came out of our bomb shelters and our apartments to celebrate the end of the war and its miracles.

Beit Tovei Ha'ir celebrated with a special festive Victory Lunch on Wednesday for all the residents and staff, to thank them for all their support during this difficult period.
