Always a little late to post… but finally — THE poster and the incredible case behind it.

Have you ever heard about Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)?

It’s a progressive neurodegenerative disease where patients slowly lose their muscle function while their mind remains completely intact.
Over time, even simple actions like opening the eyes or communicating become extremely difficult.

At , we decided we had to help.

For this patient, who was no longer able to properly open her eyes, we developed an advanced custom scleral device with a shelf design.
Not only did it protect the ocular surface — it helped restore:

✨ communication
✨ ocular health
✨ functional vision
✨ and dignity

And for the first time in a long while… she could truly see her environment again.

This case opened doors for us to share this innovation with multiple hospitals, both in Israel and internationally.
Moments like this remind me why I love what we do.

✨ Back from GSLS ✨

A short trip… but a very long journey ✈️

Last week, I had the honor of presenting a complex clinical case at GSLS, one of my favorite conferences — a place for learning, sharing, meaningful connections and meeting incredible new people.

GSLS 2026 was the highlight of a year of hard work:
🎤 invited to submit lectures
🥇 1st place in the photo contest
🤝 key meetings with our partners to plan M’Eye Clinic’s 2026 expansion in Israel

7 days. 4 conference days.
28h of travel each way. 10h time difference 😅
And a mind full of inspiration.

Grateful, energized, and ready for what’s next ✨

Let’s wrap up 2025 as we move forward into 2026.

From Africa to Germany — what a ride! 🐅🌾🇩🇪🔥
Those two weeks honestly felt like a summer camp for grown-ups — full of energy, laughter, recharging vibes, learning, and endless networking.
Not just conferences, but real experiences, shared with amazing people who make every trip unforgettable.

We actually had jackets in South Africa, and then froze in Germany 🥶😂

✨ So often I’m asked:
“How much can you really do with contact lenses?”
“Why do scleral lenses seem like a miracle?”
And… “Why do you love your job so much?” 💙

Many people heard that contact lenses are contraindicated for dry eyes or that results are poor and it’s too complicated.
But the truth? It’s the opposite.

👁️ Two patients. Two corneal transplants done decades ago.
Both had advanced keratoconus in their youth.

Today, the challenge remains the same: how to design a lens that respects a fragile graft.
👉 The key issue is always suction. The fitter’s role is to find a balance — the “equilibrium fit” — so the patient can wear the lens safely all day long.

Just some cases to share from today at the clinic.

גם היום האתגר נשאר זהה: איך לעצב עדשה שמכבדת קרנית רגישה לאחר השתלה.
