Marin SAR responds to 50+ operations a year, searching for missing hikers on Mount Tam at 2 AM, conducting evidence searches, and responding to natural disasters. All volunteers. All carrying their own 24-hour packs into the wilderness.
When you're hauling gear up a mountain in the dark, space and durability aren't nice-to-haves. They're essential.
That's why they carry exclusively.

Unlike traditional wilderness courses, SURV-TAC focuses on urban environment challenges, from crisis preparedness to self-rescue in metropolitan settings. They keep classes small, provide at least two instructors, and prioritize genuine professional training.
