I once heard someone say, that it does not matter where you needle, you will get the same outcome. I do NOT agree with this. I once needle a patient who suffered from extreem amount of saliva. This was only one of many symptoms and problems that he had. The salivation was only a minor symptom. Initially I did not address it, but then I heard of a point for salivation for children, and decided to try it on my adult patient. I did not tell him what I was doing or aiming for, but a minute after I had inserted the needles, he said: I don't know what you did, but my mouth is dryer than it has been in years! So no, the points should be needled according to a plan...

When I was at a seminar in Taiwan, we were told, that Master Tung was once watched by officials, to understand his secrets, but he did not want to reveal them. To confuse them, he used to insert the needle from different angles, reaching the same point. For those not understanding, it would look like he was needling different points for same illness, but in fact, he reached the same point, just from different places. This we can understand and interpret wider, so that if you want to needle a point, but don't have the right access, you can do it from the other side...etc... this is material for further speculation.

Every now and again, you come across a common ailment, that is not talked much about. It is somewhat embarrassing. A friend of mine complained about a rash under her breasts, due to the heat and humidity. I mixed a cream on the basis of coconut oil, bee wax and chia butter. After combining these in heated bowl, I let it cool a bit, and before it started to settle, I added Tea tree oil, frankincense and Lavender. One could add helichrysum too, as it is great for the skin, but even without this, it worked wonders for her, and very fast. Must remember for next summer! As it does not contain anything to maintain it, it should be used within half a year or so.

My ``go to`` for the autumn/winter is a mix of Honey with essential oils. It helps very fast, and works for more or less everything related to the throat. I always have it ready in the kitchen. Sometimes I make it more concentrated (more drops), but that is just me. This one is also suitable for children. Wishing you a healthy autumn & winter...

While working at Urology clinic - I am a nurse there, I was about to treat this elderly woman for UB troubles - with western medicine. I saw this and had to take a picture, as it so plainly show the UB with issues. This lady suffers from frequently urination during the nights, and some incontinence. How I wish I could treat her with acupuncture in stead of western medicine!!!

After having been to the swimming pool, I went to the showers. On the floor of the dressing room, a young woman was lying on the floor, saying that she had had a dizziness spell, and was about to faint. I let her smell some of the peppermint oil that I had in my bag, and she felt better. I then gave her a mix in a capsule with oils for digestion, and after 10 min she was totally fine, and over it. She wanted to go dancing, which I advised against. Her body had had a trauma, and needed to rest... Do you want to hear more about these oils, let me know :)

No, this is not a hunting photo.....Briton Alex Larenty lives on a game reserve in South Africa and spends his days giving lions foot massages. One day, he discovered that every time a lion was applied a cream to cure an infection on its paws, the lion would slacken and appear to smile. Since then, he has massaged all the lions in the park on a daily basis. Thanks to the pampering, he created a bond such that just by seeing him arrive, the lions lie down, begin to stretch their legs and smile. With love and respect, all relationships are possible!

I now see, that I have 1.3K followers! Wow, and I have not posted in a long time. Thank you all! My latest experiment was making a mix of essential oils for an older male patient, who has trouble peeing, you know, prostate issues...Instead of cutting, I thought that anti inflammatory oils and oils that supports the liver, would be good, so my recipe is as follows, using only Doterra oils, which are ok to take internally:
For internal use in capsules - 6-8 drops pr caps twice daily: Thyme, clove, eucalyptus, Bergamot, Fennel, Roman chamomille, ginger, Helichrysum, Turmeric, lemon, cinnamon, frankincense, Copaiba, zendocrine - same amount of each in a 15ml bottle. The patient went abroad, forgot his regular medication for decrease of the prostate size, so he only took this mixture, and when he returned, he said, that it worked better than his regular (western) medication. In other words, he got up fewer times during the night to urinate, and when he went to urinate, he did not have to wait too long for beginning to urinate. Magic...:)

Due to Corona, I have not been treating patients regularly the past 2 years. I have missed it. 2 weeks ago, a relative of a very good friend asked me to treat her brother-in-law (79 years old), who was suffering from Vertigo. He had done all possible tests, incl. CT etc. He has visited several doctors. Nothing wrong, they said. When walking - he is lacking balance, so he walks with walking sticks. He also suffers after writing on the computer for 1.5 hours, and gets up, or watching a movie, and getting up. I made up 2 bottles of essential oils. After a week, there seemed to be an improvement. Reg. acupuncture, I first suspected Gb & Tb. But questioning him, pulse, tongue etc. he really is healthy in general. So I did as we learned in Taiwan, to treat 4 or 5 elements. I did, and meanwhile, he told me about his cold feet (he sleeps with socks on also in the winter) & back aches. First treatment went well with a somewhat nice improvement. I then changed strategy, starting with GV4, Bl 23 & Bl 52. TDP lamp on these needles, 30 min. Then fewer needles on the rest of the body than first time, using all 5 elements and more of the TDP lamp. Today - 10 days into total treatment - oils and 2 acupuncture treatments, he reported, that there is a marked improvement! Don't lock onto your first impression, be open to other ways of "attacking the problem"... Love it, when alternative treatments can solve something that western medicine cannot solve :)

Magic is just magic... I made a sample of essential oils - a mix - for a 5 year old who is still bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis), because the doctor had nothing to offer. After finishing the small 5 ml sample, he is no longer wetting his bed! He used to rub the lower abdomen with this oil, no ingestion. Is that not magic?😀
