These days, many of us are holding tension, fear, and uncertainty in our bodies and hearts. Yoga wonโ€™t change the external situation โ€” but it can help us breathe through it, stay grounded, and release what weโ€™re carrying for even just one hour.

We are offering yoga classes, both on Zoom and in-person, as a space to reconnect, move, and find moments of peace and strength.

In many of our sessions this week โ€” including in corporate wellness settings โ€” we focused on ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž.
๐Ÿ“ Most of us spend hours sitting, emailing, Zooming.
But how often do we ๐’•๐’“๐’–๐’๐’š ๐’”๐’†๐’† our posture and spinal alignment?
๐Ÿง  Today in class, we began with a unique ๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ž๐ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
We imagined ourselves at our desks โ€” not ideally, but honestly. What does your spine ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’๐’š look like when you're focused on work?
Then we reimagined it: upright, strong, relaxed, and ๐ซ๐š๐๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ.
We visualized ๐›๐ž๐š๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ moving along the spinal cord, then flowing outward through the nerves into the arms, legs, fingers, and toes โ€” reconnecting our body from the inside out.
At the end of class, we saw ourselves seated once again โ€” but now with more awareness, more grace, more confidence.
๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ:
Gentle ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ and ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐›๐š๐œ๐ค/๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ค ๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž to counter screen fatigue.
๐๐š๐œ๐ค๐›๐ž๐ง๐๐ฌ to energize and ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ to calm the nervous system:
Bhujangฤsana (Cobra) | Setu Bandha (Bridge) | Ustrฤsana (Camel)
Halasana (Plow) | Paschimottanฤsana (Seated Fold) | Balฤsana (Childโ€™s Pose) | and Utkata Konasana (Goddess Pose) โ€” to build strength and upright spinal support from the ground up.
Throughout, we intentionally alternated effort and recovery to support mobility and emotional regulation.
๐Ÿ’† We ended with a spacious ลšavฤsana (final rest), inviting full-body integration and nervous system reset.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Why does this matter?
