Family Day in Israel is marked on the anniversary of the passing of Henrietta Szold - a woman who did not have a family of her own, yet became a mother figure to thousands. She founded the Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization of America, established the “Tipat Halav” (Mother and Child Health Clinics) network, and led the Youth Aliyah movement, which rescued Jewish children from N**i Europe.

Family is not only the one we are born into, but also the one we choose and build - a circle of love, protection, and kindness.

On this day, we wish for all of us to cherish the families we grew from, and to continue working together for a better future for every child, just as Szold did.

Growing Hope at ALYN 🌱
On Tu B’Shvat, ALYN was filled with the spirit of renewal, as children took part in creative holiday activities seamlessly incorporated into their personalized therapeutic goals.

In the Occupational Therapy kitchen, they prepared festive baked goods and set up a joyful little market to “sell” their treats, turning tradition into confidence, connection, and rehabilitation in action.
