"He Never Gave Up on Me – Even When It Was Hard"
18-year-old Mati Weiss and her coach Ohad Tenaami share an extraordinary bond ,one forged through pain, resilience, and the power of hope. Mati, paralyzed from the waist down, rides a handcycle. Ohad, a reservist who lost three close friends in battle and was diagnosed with PTSD, found purpose in training children with disabilities. Together, they joined 300 riders and 17 young ALYN patients in the Wheels of Love charity ride ,260 km across Israel ,to support ALYN Hospital’s life-changing rehabilitation programs.

Their shared message: “Do the best you can ,and a little more. That’s how we’ll build a better country.”

Warming up the engines… or should we say – the wheels! 🔥
Meet the Swift & the Bold, a group of incredible kids who have been treated (or are still being treated) at ALYN Hospital and are gearing up once again for Wheels of Love, Israel’s largest charity cycling event.
This year, we ride in honor of the northern communities of Israel, who have endured challenging times of evacuations and bombardments.
Wheels of Love is more than a ride, it’s a powerful journey of hope, resilience, and support for ALYN – Israel’s only pediatric rehabilitation hospital.

From speech challenges to opera to the meaning of courage — we learned, laughed, and connected in new ways. 💬💚
