Through our collaboration, we stepped into a completely new field

For 15 years, we’ve been partnering with SodaStream Israel | סודהסטרים SodaStream USA, part of PepsiCo, in the design and development of sparkling water makers for the global market.

In the ENSO project, we had the privilege to collaborate with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most influential and respected designers in the world in recent times.

Fukasawa’s minimalist and precise design language required a deep and thoughtful engineering process, developed in close collaboration with the SodaStream team.
For us, it was an opportunity to apply years of accumulated experience and translate them into precise work that honors the principles of Japanese design.
User experience played a central role, demanding the development of complex, almost invisible mechanisms that seamlessly integrate with the clean lines of Enso.

Behind the scenes, we managed a seven-hour time difference cross-continental collaboration, with an ongoing exchange that led to rich dialogue, mutual learning, and professional respect.
We truly enjoyed working alongside outstanding colleagues and getting to know the Japanese work culture, defined by precision, attention to detail, and just the right amount of flexibility.
In the end, this project stands as a testament to a long-term partnership built on trust, dialogue, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Designers, engineers, clay, and Mexican food- that’s what a true Tamooz evening looks like.

Hagai, our Head of Development (and a few other things), welcomed us into his home studio and opened the door to a world of material, texture, temperature, a pottery wheel, and yes, plenty of mold-making.
We know a thing or two about molds, but this time we were the clients: each of us chose, planned, and crafted our own mold, holiday gifts born of hands-on work and shared inspiration.
Between tacos, tortillas, and margaritas, we were reminded how much we love to get our hands dirty, to sculpt, to feel the material, and to reconnect with the joy of creation, especially with something as warm and forgiving as clay.
Here’s a small glimpse of an evening that set the tone for our New Year.

Ideas don’t just pop out of nowhere

They sneak in when the room is buzzing,
Markers, sticky notes, soda fiilled glasses piling up, music, odd games- “Impossible” is not a reaction to any idea

Brainstorming always starts with order and ends in beautiful chaos.
Some thoughts are bizarre, some familiar, but once a real idea lands- you feel it.

Dolphin Liberty 600 represents a new generation of cordless pool robots by Maytronics , powered by external inductive charging and designed for complete autonomous coverage.
At the studio, we translated this mechanical freedom into a clean, coherent design language, carefully refining each point of interaction between user and machine.
As part of Maytronics’ Liberty series, the product merges a technological visual identity with practical functionality. A transparent cover provides immediate insight into the filter’s status, while integrated lighting communicates the robot’s operating mode. The user interface was shaped to ensure clarity, precision, and an intuitive experience.
The adoption of external inductive charging enabled a streamlined form with no exposed connections, enhancing both durability and environmental resistance. This seamless integration of structure and function is the result of close collaboration between our design team and Maytronics’ engineers.
