The mind has much more influence on our body than is commonly assumed.

If no doctor should recognize anything, you still run between Pontius and Pilatus, and if you are lucky, the symptoms will stop at some point.

Our body is incredible: if you are satisfied, balanced, relaxed, maybe even happy, you give the organism the chance to protect itself.

What are flower pollen at all?

Flower pollen is male spermatozoa, microscopic grains.

They are tiny and are in the bloom, where they are separated from stamens of flowering plant.
The term "pollen" comes from Latin and means "dust flour". What the human calls pollen is thus a collection of several thousand grains, which together forms a so-called panty.
A panty is grain of six to ten milligram.

What are the ingredients?

The contents of the pollen vary depending on the location, harvest time and origin. On average, they contain the following ingredients: about two to three percent fatty acids, three to five percent vitamins and minerals, 30 to 40 percent vegetable protein and 50 to 60 percent carbohydrates. Hardly any other food is blessed with all the essential nutrients in such a concentration. The small power packs contain not only the vegetable proteins (amino acids) but also hormones and enzymes.

Flower pollen and its effect on humans:

The effect on the human body is diverse, because as far as the healthy diversity is concerned, the pollen provides a wide range. The regular intake of pollen increases the memory, fatigue symptoms may disappear, the digestion may regulated and it also improves the appearance of the skin.

So big and strong, so delicate and vulnerable

Our skin is not only the largest human organ, but also one that performs many different tasks:
breathing, demarcation, absorption of sunlight and sensory stimuli, temperature control and encounter.

Our skin always connects the outside with the inside.
At such a sensitive transition, it can sometimes cause irritation and injury. This is why abrasions or eczema, bruises, burns and scars are all part of life.

But: You will always observe how well our skin can heal itself and renew itself.

Our skin as a reflection of the soul

The travel wave starts to roll.

Whether you travel short or long distance or even stay at home for the holidays, whether it is a hiking holiday or a relaxing holiday ... a basic set against the little woes should be found in your suitcase.

What is RR and why is it important?

RR stands for the italian physician Riva Rocci (1863-1943) who developed the bloodless possibility to measure the blood pressure.

His device was something special: pieces of a bicycle tube, mercury barometer, elastic ballons, etc.

Today, it is way much easier... you can even measure at home.

SYStolic
Cardiac work is a wavelike pumping action: each time the left ventricle contracts, the blood is pumped abruptly into the main artery (aorta), causing the blood pressure in the vessels to rise briefly. The achieved maximum pressure is called the upper blood pressure value or systolic blood pressure = "Systole" = "SYS".

DIAstolic
After the left ventricle has contracted during the pumping process, the ventricle must first fill up with blood for the next pump surge. For that, the chamber relaxes. During this relaxation phase, when no more blood is being pumped into the main artery, the pressure in the blood vessels slowly drops (until the next blood burst comes from the heart). The lowest pressure reached is called the lower value or the diastolic blood pressure = "Diastole" = "DIA".

The arterial pressure is not a fixed value and varies depending on what activity is being exercised. It increases with physical exertion, stress and excitement, it sinks in physical and mental resting periods.

Recommended is for the first value (SYS) under 140 and for the second value (DIA) under 80.

Eye redness, foreign body sensation, scratching and burning.
Complaints on the eye are always particularly unpleasant.

However, eye diseases can be just as much a trigger as drafts or the influence of air conditioning or dry heating air.

If watermelon is associated with summer then apples are synonymous with fall. This crisp, white-fleshed fruit comes in many sizes with a red, yellow or green skin. Depending on the variety, the taste of an apple can range from sweet to tart.

In the laboratory, apples have been found to have very strong antioxidant activity, inhibit cancer cell proliferation, decrease lipid oxidation, and lower cholesterol. Apples contain a variety of phytochemicals, including quercetin, catechin, phloridzin and chlorogenic acid, all of which are strong antioxidants.

Approximally 400 out of more than 10,000 antioxidants have been defined in ripe apple so far.

Who showers alternately warm and cold will see and feel effects.

Contrast showers work as follows:
1. warm shower - widens the vessels
2. cold shower - reflexive contraction closes the vessels
3. again warm and cold...
4. stop with a lukewarm shower

Although you may find it daunting at first, a daily contrast shower has been proven to:
- strengthen the body's defenses / immune system

High fish consumption promotes intelligence and healthy sleep among children

Fish should be on the menu of children as early as possible.
According to a cohort study conducted in China, children with regular fish consumption sleep better and score more points in IQ tests.

Previous studies have shown that the consumption of omega-3 fatty acids in many fish is associated with higher intelligence, sleep and antisocial behavior in children.

The results were independent of possible influencing factors such as education and social status of the parents or the family situation.

Children with high fish consumption (at least once a week) achieved 4.8 points more in the intelligence test than children who never or rarely ate fish.
In addition, the researchers found out that the kids with a high fish consumption had less sleep disturbances and a better sleep quality.

So... let's eat more fish...
