We are proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Nathan Stolero, as the new CEO of Pharma Clinical! 🥳

Nathan takes on the role of CEO, as Pharma Clinical’s Founder and Dr. Dan Stolero continues his close and ongoing involvement with the company as Chairman and Medical Director, maintaining oversight of the company’s medical and professional excellence.

After 3.5 years as our Innovation Manager, Nathan brings a unique perspective. He holds a PhD in Communication, with expertise in health promotion and emergency management, and has held a range of senior professional and managerial roles across the health and public sectors. Nathan has served as a senior consultant on steering committees for government ministries, including the Ministry of Health, led large multidisciplinary research teams, and contributed to international projects in the fields of health, emergency management, and communication. Alongside his executive role, he continues to hold an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University.

As the son of our Dr. Dan Stolero, Nathan brings not only a fresh perspective but also a strong and indispensable personal connection to the company’s values and legacy. For over 35 years, Pharma Clinical has been driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, trust, and meaningful partnerships — values that continue to guide us into the future.

Now stepping into the role of CEO, Nathan will lead Pharma Clinical’s overall strategy and day-to-day management, building on the company’s strong foundations while continuing to develop new capabilities and areas of growth.

His motivation is clear: "This field is full of opportunities to make a real difference," Nathan shares. "Everything we do is a step toward developing new medicines and improving human health."

At Pharma Clinical, we make complex clinical trials possible.

Recently, we successfully managed a challenging Phase 1 trial for a novel CAR-T treatment. This study involved introducing the treatment to medical centers that had never used CAR-T therapies before.

For one important site, this was their first CAR-T patient. The quick and strong response seen in the first patient demonstrated the success of our work together and showed how important it is to offer new options to patients with serious unmet needs. Ultimately, all the complex logistics and hard work boil down to this single moment: ensuring the patient receives the life-changing care she effectively needs.

This is our advantage - executing and launching innovative, complex therapies in new regions for our global sponsors.

We were delighted to take part in the 30th anniversary of the ICI Meeting 🎉
A fantastic gathering that brought together leading voices in cardiovascular medicine, medical devices, and digital health.

Throughout the event, we explored new medical technologies and AI-driven solutions, highlighting Israel’s strong position in med-tech innovation. We also joined insightful discussions about the evolving role of AI in healthcare, how technology can support clinicians and researchers, and why human expertise remains essential to meaningful clinical decisions.

In July 2024, a global clinical trial for Hepatitis Delta, one of the rarest liver infections, launched at Soroka Medical Center in Israel under the leadership of the principal investigator, Dr. David Yardeni, and the sub-investigator, Prof. Ohad Etzion.

Despite logistical challenges, including an ongoing war, relocating the entire department off-campus due to a direct missile strike at the hospital, and launching with just one study site at first, 16 participants were screened in just four months.

While other global sites have yet to recruit a single participant, Soroka has become one of the top recruiters worldwide, with patients being referred to the study site from across the country.

The success of the recruitment can be credited to several factors, including the exceptional expertise of the Soroka medical team and Clinical Research Center, headed by Dr. Victor Novack, the strong culture of collaboration among investigators in Israel, the diverse population, and the operational support provided by Pharma Clinical.

We are proud to be part of this success story and to once again help introduce novel therapies to the local population.

Show must go on: Meet Keren Zylberman, a clinical trial manager, and an actress 🎭

At Pharma Clinical, she leads complex, multi-country oncology trials, from regulatory strategy to site oversight and sponsor coordination, always keeping patient safety and data integrity at the forefront. Whether it’s Israel, Europe, or the U.S., she works across time zones and cultures to keep every moving part in sync.

But outside the world of clinical research, she’s also an actress. And just like on stage, managing a trial demands presence, empathy, and the ability to read the room. Knowing when to listen, when to lead, and how to bring people together, that’s where her two worlds meet.

When asked about the secret to success in clinical trials, Keren answered that it is rooted in real human connections. Whether it’s checking in on a CRA in Spain during a flood or receiving heartfelt support from colleagues abroad during challenging times in Israel, she reminds us that the people behind the protocols matter most, and we could not agree more.
