We had the honor of hosting for a Pride Month lecture 🌈

Shany is an organizational consultant and former IDF officer who has led impactful diversity and inclusion programs for students.
He offered a unique and thought-provoking perspective on the connection between Pride Month, war, and the future of the job market.

This lecture was originally scheduled during Pride Month in June, but was postponed due to Operation Rising Lion. It was important to us not to skip it.
MyHeritage holds inclusion and belonging as core values, and remains committed to promoting diversity and ensuring that every group feels represented and respected in everyday work life. 🏳️‍🌈

One of our most important values at MyHeritage is sustainability, and we love seeing it in action.
We wanted to raise awareness once again among our team — and what better way than through a fun and useful activity?
We kicked things off in June for World Environment Day, and the activity continued throughout July. 🌎
We hosted a clothing & book swap, where employees brought in items they no longer use and gave them a second life with someone else. 👕📚
We also ran a short recycling tutorial, showing how to use our 4-bin system. ♻️
P.S. All leftover clothes were donated to a local nonprofit organization. 💚

We had the honor of collaborating once again with 🙌🏻
Yesterday, we spent a meaningful day volunteering in the rehabilitation department at Tel HaShomer Hospital.
During the visit, we connected with wounded patients in the ward — talking with them, handing out food, singing karaoke, and, most importantly, showing appreciation and gratitude.

⁨ בכאב עמוק אנחנו נפרדים מחברנו, רס”ל בן (בנימין) אסולין ז”ל, שנהרג אמש בקרב בצפון רצועת עזה, בעת שלחם בגבורה למען המדינה.
הבשורה הקשה על נפילתו של בן הכתה את כולנו בהלם. בן עבד בצוות ה IT של MyHeritage, כך שכל עובדי ועובדות החברה זכו להכיר אותו ולהתרשם ממקצועיותו, מסירותו, אחריותו ואדיבותו יוצאות הדופן.
החיוך מעולם לא מש מפניו של בן והיה מאיר כל יום ויום בעבודה איתו.
בן הותיר חותם בלב כולנו לעד.
אנחנו שולחים את תנחומינו הכנים למשפחת אסולין ולכל אוהביו של בן, משתתפים בצערכם, וכואבים אתכם את האובדן הבלתי נתפס.

Last month we held our amazing Moonshot Hackathon — and the creativity, energy, and innovation were off the charts!
💡 20 bold teams participated (including 5 from our Global team!), bringing visionary ideas and serious talent to the table.
This hackathon reminded us what’s possible when we collaborate across teams and push boundaries together.
🙌 Huge thanks to all participants and everyone who showed up, cheered on, and made this event unforgettable!

In an effort to bring some joy, comfort, and light during these challenging times, we partnered with to create the perfect care package. Filled with products from small businesses and reservist-owned businesses, we delivered these packages straight to our employees’ doors.

Let’s hope for quieter days ahead and brighter times for us all. 🙏🏻

In honor of the Shavuot holiday, our two offices came together under one rooftop — with live music, delicious dairy food, and of course, Israeli wine.🍷

After more than three years of seeing each other only through screens, our teams from Israel and Kyiv finally reunited in Warsaw for a truly heartwarming gathering.
It was more than just a work trip — it was a celebration of the strong bond we’ve built over time and the joy of reconnecting in person. Being together again reminded us of the power of shared moments: working side by side, laughing together, and simply enjoying each other’s presence beyond the screen.✨

Yesterday, we came together at the MyHeritage office in Or Yehuda to hold a Memorial Day ceremony in honor of Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror.🥀

We are deeply grateful to our talented and dedicated employees who participated in the ceremony — through song, readings, and heartfelt contributions — creating a meaningful and respectful tribute.

We honored the memory of our beloved MyHeritage Lab team members, Ilay Nachman and Ron Shamer, who were tragically murdered on October 7th. We were humbled to be joined by Ron’s parents, who shared his life story with us.

We had the honor of hosting archaeologist Yoram Haimi in remembrance of Holocaust Remembrance Day. Yoram dedicated 6 years to an extraordinary excavation at the site of the Sobibor extermination camp — a lifelong project that uncovered new insights into life in the camp, the mechanism of extermination, and the truth that had been buried deep in the ground.

In this unique lecture, we also learned about the meaningful collaboration with Roi Mandel from the Research team, which helped identify relatives of children who perished and whose personal belongings were found buried at the site.
