Right now I’m being targeted on social media for “Essential Oils for autism”. And let me tell you, I find the whole thing rather annoying.
I find it annoying not because I mind being targeted for things Essential Oil or autism – to the contrary, I find it interesting and sometimes helpful – but rather because for me, the entire concept of “Essential Oils for autism” is unprofessional and ineffective.
Parallel to how I find the concept of “Essential Oils for Tall Folk” or “Essential Oils for Caucasians” an unprofessional and ineffective approach to helping people, though likely a useful marketing strategy.
In contrast to this wide, sweeping form of generalization, my personal approach to both Essential Oils and Bach Flowers is to get real specific to the PERSON, not their label. I listen to what my client is looking for, I ask questions, and I listen some more. Instead of just looking at the outer package. Because whether a client is tall or short, Caucasian or Asian, or on the autism spectrum or neurotypical (or any combination thereof), bottom-line is they are a person with history, needs, dreams and desires, and anything else is just labeling.
Rant over, I’m now going to turn the rest of this post over to suggesting a few Essential Oil blends that I, Sat-Sung, as a medium-height, Caucasian, and autistic woman, love and use, and want to share with you.
I warmly invite you to adopt them for yourself and anyone you know, regardless of height, ancestral origin, and brain wiring. Here they are:
💜Essential Oil Blend #1 - Sat-Sung’s Simple and Basic Cleansing Blend
I use this blend a lot for energetic cleansing. I love it because it is simple and effective.
• 3 parts Lemongrass Essential Oil
• 2 parts Tea Tree Essential Oil
Diffuse this blend in rooms that feel heavy, or where you want a cleaner, fresher vibe.
You can play with the Tea Tree proportions – if the 3:2 ratio is too strong for you, try 3:1, and if you want it stronger, make it 1:1.
