I’m not gonna sit here and say it’s a piece of cake. They say “active labor” for a reason.
We women are deeply and innately strong and capable. As mamas we work every day - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually - with love and from love (and often sheer willpower and exhaustion)
Birthing our babies is no different
Except that it’s likely one of the most powerful things a human being can do - both mama and baby.
This a beautiful photo of a mama who rented our pool 2.5 years ago and just messaged me to rent a pool again for her upcoming birth

I still remember how inspiring it was to here her talk about her birth afterwards and how blessed felt to be of service providing professional birth pools, deep, comfortable, spacious - truly a world apart from a bath or kiddie pool.

On June 25th I went to Ashdod to a Waterbirth conference for midwives and doctors with some pools and other accessories to show everyone and to hear the inspiring talks.
Boaz and I packed up the pools and our newborn, Raz Yosef (he was 3 weeks old!) and travelled over 2 hours to be greeted by a room full of wonderful birthing professionals including the guestnote speaker (drum roll) - the queen of Waterbirthing herself, Barbara Harper
Honestly I was star struck ;)
Barbara is such an accomplished woman, just google her! She taught an hour class which was fascinating and heart warming and then took a Birth Pool in a Box pool from me all the way to Tanzania for their new natural birthing service - the midwives were trained by Barbara herself.

An amazing day, thank you to the team from Assuta Ashdod for putting it on including Tal head midwife and Allison Rosenbaum who brought waterbirth to Assuta Ashdod

Hi all
Looking for someone who will be in Tekoa in the next week who would be willing to bring a birthing pool (takes up one car seat) to Jerusalem or Pardes Hanna if possible 🙏
