As Passover approaches, we are reminded of the power of renewal and the importance of mindfulness in our lives. Our children's Reiki and mindfulness group is the perfect way to help your little ones connect with their inner selves and find peace and harmony during this special time.

Through Reiki and mindfulness practices, our group aims to teach children how to focus their minds, calm their bodies, and tap into their own inner strength and resilience. This Passover, give your child the gift of mindfulness and help them discover the power within.

🪷 Water Meditation 🧘🏻‍♀️

In order to envision breathing and relax the mind, this meditation makes use of the source of life as a tool.
Water has always been a place of inspiration and healing. Using the harmonic waves of the water to help you relax throughout meditation while concentrating on your breathing and thoughts.

Water is a terrific tool to help meditation because of its inherent advantages for the body and mind, especially if you have difficulties unwinding or concentrating.

Benefits:

🪷 Warm water can decrease stress hormones and balance serotonin levels, which help regulate mood, relaxation, and more.

🪷 Even the color of water affects us both cognitively and effectively, making us feel more comfortable.

🪷 Submerging your body but keeping your head out can help you breathe easier.

🪷 Water can help relax the muscles, joints, and bones for better meditation.

For best practice, choose a water source that is still like a bathtub, hot tub, etc., where you won’t be bothered by distracting noises that can reverberate underwater.

🧘🏻‍♀️Get in the water and get comfortable with the temperature.

🧘🏻‍♀️Begin to focus on your breathing.

🧘🏻‍♀️Submerge your body but keep your face above the water.

🧘🏻‍♀️While keeping your ears below water but mouth and nose above, close your eyes and begin to meditate, focusing on your breath.

🧘🏻‍♀️Pair your breathing with the harmonic sounds and wave patterns.

🧘🏻‍♀️Visualize your breath going out like ripples and returning.

🧘🏻‍♀️Continue to relax your body with the flow of water.

Here's simple but effective techniques to help yourself.

🚿 Step into the shower, close your eyes and stand under the water, allowing the water to encompass your body like a waterfall.

🙌🏼 Stretch your hands as high as you can while you're under the water.

🧬 Imagine all negative thoughts and energy leaving through your toes while new energy goes in through your fingertips. As the water falls visualize your body, and watch the old energy, illness, negativity, burdens, fears bad thoughts, you name it — being washed away, down the drain.

A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other.

No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction.

🪷Cultivate Self Love With Reiki🪷

Reiki is a form of energy healing that utilizes the Universal Life Force Energy — also called qi, prana, or mana — to bring energies back into alignment.

The wonderful thing about Reiki, and energy healing in general, is that we can all use it because we are all energetic beings. While professional Reiki practitioners are trained and attuned to the process, anyone can access their own Reiki connections.

Because Reiki is based on divine love, several of its practices can aid in the cultivation of self-love.

Reiki are all about practicing loving kindness to oneself and others on a daily basis. We advocate saying these Reiki commandments to oneself on a daily basis for a very nourishing Reiki-infused practice of self-love. They are as follows:

Just for today, I will not feel anger.

Just for today, I will not worry.

I appreciate everything and give thanks.

I embody the teachings in action.

5. Yoga
Yoga is another breathing-controlled series of exercises that can help you to balance your chi. While both practices (Tai Chi & Yoga) have similarities, they are actually very different.

Tai chi is a series of fluid movements that are constantly evolving and merging into each other, much like the way in which chi itself moves. The action of doing tai chi requires you to be constantly moving as your body moves from one posture to another. Yoga, on the other hand, is all about stillness.

Yoga postures are held for prolonged periods of time, depending on the style that you practice, as you find your balance, inner peace, and an awareness of your body.

It is thought that as you hold each yoga pose, chi accumulates within you and creates a blockage. As you release from each posture, the blockage clears and your chi flows freely. This repeated sequence of exercises helps to prevent blockages from permanently hindering your chi.

Practice mindfulness and balance your mind with your body through the act of meditation. Regular meditation is a really effective habit to do in your daily life as it allows you to let go of negative thoughts and relax.

Letting go of these negative energies allows your body to cultivate its chi instead.

Do you ever feel stressed, anxious, or fatigued for no apparent reason?

Well, it might be because your chi is imbalanced. You may have come across the term before but for those of you who haven’t, chi is a spiritual energy that helps us to become physically stronger, mentally focused, energized and revitalized

Chi travels and circulates through the channels of our bodies, similar to the way water flows in a riverbed.

1. Declutter

According to the International Feng Shui Guild, clutter represents heavy, stagnant chi energy, which will hold us back from fulfilling our life’s purpose. Addressing the home’s surroundings can be the first step for other positive, energetic moves in money, career, and relationships.

Take control of clutter, and if you can’t, invest in some help from a professional, such as a personal organizer, a cleaning service, a feng shui expert, or a therapist.

🌈🌦Daily Habits for All-Day Happiness🌈🌦

Happiness looks different for everyone. For you, maybe it’s being at peace with who you are. Or having a secure network of friends who accept you unconditionally. Or the freedom to pursue your deepest dreams.

Regardless of your version of true happiness, living a happier, more satisfying life is within reach. A few tweaks to your regular habits can help you get there.

Habits matter. If you’ve ever tried breaking a bad habit, you know all too well how ingrained they are.

Well, good habits are deeply engrained, too.

Why not work on making positive habits part of your routine?

Here’s a look at some daily habits to help kick-start your quest. Just remember that everyone’s version of happiness is a little different, and so is their path to achieving it.

1. Get plenty of sleep 😴

No matter how much modern society steers us toward less sleep, we know that adequate sleep is a vital trusted source of good health, brain function, and emotional well-being.

Most adults need about 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night. If you find yourself fighting the urge to nap during the day or just generally feel like you’re in a fog, your body may be telling you it needs more rest.

2. Exercise & Yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️

Exercise isn’t just for your body. Regular exercise can help to reduce stress, feelings of anxiety, and symptoms of depression while boosting self-esteem and happiness.

Even a small amount of physical activity can make a difference. You don’t have to train for a triathlon or scale a cliff — unless that’s what makes you happy, of course.

The trick is not to overexert. If you suddenly throw yourself into a strenuous routine, you’ll probably just end up frustrated (and sore).

3. Be grateful 😇

Simply being grateful can give your mood a big boost, among other benefits. For example, a recent two-part study found that practicing gratitude can have a significant impact on feelings of hope and happiness.

Start each day by acknowledging one thing you’re grateful for. You can do this while you’re brushing your teeth or just waiting for that snoozed alarm to go off.

As you go about your day, try to keep an eye out for pleasant things in your life. They can be big things, such as knowing that someone loves you or getting a well-deserved promotion.

4. Give a compliment 🌻

Research shows that performing acts of kindness can help you feel more satisfied.

Giving a sincere compliment is a quick, easy way to brighten someone’s day while giving your own happiness a boost.

Catch the person’s eye and say it with a smile so they know you mean it. You might be surprised by how good it makes you feel.
