I am a Former President of the Israeli Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration. I have been in the fields of treatment of gum diseases, dental implants, and Oral Medicine for over 35 years. I opened my private dental clinic in the Giron Center in Ra’anana 17 years ago, after working in many communities across the country. Occasionally I work at Moshav Bnei Darom and have helped many patients in need through the Iriya. My private office's culture is based on providing a personalized treatment plan for every patient. We offer a positive and relaxing treatment experience. I graduated King David High School, Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 17 and immediately began studying Dentistry at Wits University. I opened my first general practice in Benoni outside of Johannesburg.
5 years later I returned to my Alma Mater to specialize in Periodontics and Oral Medicine. On completion of my Master's degree (1987) I relocated to Canada where I married my wife Sharon. In 1991 I received the Canadian MRCD (C) – a license to practice Periodontics in Canada from the Royal College of Dentists in Canada. In 1996 I received all my qualifications in Israel. For many years I enjoyed teaching at various universities; in Israel this included Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem and at TelAviv University - there I received the best teacher of the year award. Many people still think that visiting the Dentist can only be a negative experience. This is far from the truth. Today, many Dentists give amazing treatment to each and every patient, while taking their fears and concerns into consideration. In some cases our clinic offers sedation by a qualified anaesthetist for those who prefer it. If you have receding gums, exposed roots, aesthetic/cosmetic needs, bleeding gums, loose teeth etc. we need to examine why this is the case and together plan the appropriate treatment for you. We will do our utmost to clarify the time frame of your treatment and what exactly you could expect. Finally, we will endovour to make sure you understand the benefits to you fully!
