In my work with patients, I often use what is called somatic or body-based work. Somatic work goes beyond simple massage. It recognizes that the body carries experiences the mind or soul have not yet fully processed.
This holding often shows up as ongoing discomfort or pain: a muscle that never fully relaxes, a tight jaw, or a recurring pain in the back that becomes chronic over time.
In this session, the focus is on bringing relief to the body and supporting the release of tension that is no longer needed, physically and emotionally. Through relaxation, precise touch, and steady presence, the body is given space to soften and let go.
This is a stand-alone bodywork session, separate from psychotherapy.
